The Root of Healing Is Forgiving

Mar 4, 2008
Rev Michael Beckwith and Stephen Lewis are the best of friends. Their passions are very similar, and their personalities complement each other. Both are very successful in helping others reach a balance in their spiritual lives. They believe anything can be healed.

Stephen Lewis authored "Sanctuary: The Path to Consciousness", and through AIM, an energy balancing program, he has helped more than 40,000 people all over the world find health. He believes that healing, consciousness, and love are inseparable.

Aside from his AIM program and book, Stephen also founded EMC2. EMC2 helps people balance the imbalances in their consciousness to promote healing. He believes that healers don't actually heal people. They're teachers. They teach people how to harness and use their inner healing power.

The Agape International Spiritual Center, with 9,000 local members and a million worldwide friends, is led by Rev Michael Beckwith. Michael is the author of "Inspirations of the Heart", was featured in "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne, and has made appearances on television with Oprah and Larry King.

Rev Michael Beckwith and Stephen Lewis will both be the first to tell you about the very distinct difference between healing someone and curing them. Curing a disease comes about by an outward action, whether that action is a drug or a procedure. The difference is that healing comes from within. Healing must be done on a personal level - not by a doctor.

The language of spirituality is physics, so to Rev Michael Beckwith and Stephen Lewis, physics and spirituality go hand in hand. In fact, the Agape bookstore has many, many books dealing with physics, mathematics, and quantum physics. Stephen believes frequencies of bitter emotions, for example, are linked to frequencies of cancer.

Forgiveness is the key to inward healing. Not being able to forgive someone causes an energy blockage in your own body. Other people aren't affected if somewhere deep inside you're harboring feelings of hurt, anger, resentment, bitterness, and hate. The person who is affected is you!

In order to begin the healing process, you'll need to have an attitude of forgiveness to eliminate the toxins from your body. Picture someone in a race car with one foot on the brake and one foot on the accelerator. They're not likely to win the race, and they'll probably blow up their engine. The same thing happens in life without forgiveness.
