The one greatest benefit of home schooling, that every parent will acknowledge, that is the achievements of one's child, it is when you know that all your efforts and guidance have finally paid off. Besides the achievements of the child as one of the benefits, there are also other benefits worth highlighting.
Bonding will be lost with their children when they send them away to school. You will acquire valuable teaching and leaning experience with your child every day. You are responsible for the results of your kids that you can directly praise or blame them.
Although parents like to benefits of home schooling, but they also have to take note the disadvantages as well.
The homeschooled child could be missing on interaction with other kids about the same age as him or her. This may be one of the major disadvantages of home schooling. Parents are getting too strict or sometimes too lenient when performing the teacher's role, this is bad for the child as he or she might be resistance in learning. Parents may not be equipped with the necessary academic knowledge and teaching ability.
Parents will have to do their best and believe that the system of homeschooling can work for their family, if they had chosen this system. However, for others that are still comtemplating, it is better to seriously consider this before making the choice. If the benefits of home schooling turns out to be not what you have expect, it might leave you and your kid a lifetime of emotional stress.
