We are in the era of instant access. These days, there's a different book for every step we take, a different job title for every part of the business, different exercise equipment for every muscle in our body. There are more brands, more choices on every subject we can fathom.

But the fact is that many of the conveniences that surround us are really just a disguise. Instead of relieving us, they make our lives busier and more hectic. They consume our time instead of increasing it. They take up space. They drain our energy, because of our need to keep up we fall prey to this vicious cycle.

There is a desperate need to simplify our life's. Take a gradual process of scaling down. You will need to learn how to structure your time for maximum efficiency with minimum interruption Surround yourself with people you can trust and ask God for a great assistant. A great one can make your life a whole lot easier.

Let us look at a simple task of gaining an extra 30 minutes a day.

I know you could easily get into the office 10 minutes earlier. You could stay an extra 10 minutes and then find 10 minutes at the end of the day to review and prepare for the next.

This does not seem like too much of a challenge, especially when you break it down like that - But adding those 10 minute blocks up over a week, a month and a year. You will be clawing back a LOT of productive time: 30 minutes a day is 3.5 hours per week... 14 hours a month is a whopping 175 hours a year. This is equivalent to 2 weeks holiday!

Let's say the average working day is 8 hours, and then you are looking at just shy of 22 days extra productive time each year - a whole working month!

All from saving 10 minutes here and there!

We all do not have to be workaholic. I believe in work and personal life balance, so those saved minutes don't all have to be devoted to furthering your entrepreneurial goals - an extra 10 minutes can improve our family life, health, personal time, happiness, spirituality, and inner growth
