When you are using windows data recovery technique to recover your data under Windows operating system, you need to first shut down your computer. Next, you need to download your recovery software onto the second computer, and then go back to the computer you were working and remove from the hard drive.

After you have remove it, took that harddrive and re-install into the 2nd computer as a datadrive. You can also use a laptop computer harddisk to connect to the desktop computer. In order to do that, you need an adapter. You can get it from your nearby computer stores.

It is to be sure that your windows program are not using the "check disk" utility to recover your data or repair your harddisk. The only way to do this is to use your recovery software to perform your recovery process on the second computer that you are using.

The question lies whether you have a 2nd computer or not...

If you do not have an alternative to get another computer, you have to make sure that you shut down your computer immediately. The following procedure of the windows data recovery method is to remove the harddisk of this computer, install a new drive in, re-install windows OS and use your recovery software. As soon as this is done, you can install a new drive on your computer.

You need to re-install the drive back into the computer as a data source. However, please make sure that your windows "check disk" utility program does not try to repair when booted. After which, use your recovery software to your new hard drive. This is how you do your windows data recovery.

In order to protect your database properly, you need to follow this procedure so that your windows data recovery will proceed smoothly. What is this first step? You need to download and install your recovery program onto your computer.

You can look for file that you can't find and retrieve them to another drive that is on your computer. This is made possible once you have this program downloaded and installed.

How to determine whether your windows data recovery is completed? Once you have transfer the data files to a network-shared folder, USB external drive, memory stick or any other spot that allows you to store those files. When that is done, your window data recovery is accomplished.
