Psychic Readings and the Patterns of Your Life

Mar 22, 2008
When you set about thinking of getting a psychic reading it can spark off curiosity and nervousness, particularly if it is your first one. What do you ask? How do you relate? Are you going to get ripped off?

The first step is to do some research and find a psychic. Realize that you may have to talk to a few before you find the one you really feel comfortable with.

You might have instant rapport with the first psychic you try. Excellent if that happens, nevertheless, it must be understood that there are differences in ability and experience between different psychics

Experienced psychics who have spent time establishing their reputation will usually charge higher fees. Psychics who are just beginning their career will usually cost less.

Most people find a reputable psychic through referrals. It is not always an option. The next best thing is to try the internet.

There are many websites promoting psychics that offer profiles of the readers. Browse through the profiles and find one that you feel drawn to. Ideally, find a psychic that offers a money back guarantee. That way, you can relax about being ripped off.

Fraud is definitely a problem with the proliferation of psychics, particularly, on the web. There is no such thing as 100% accuracy. No genuine psychic would claim that. Avoid psychics also that have the "High Priestess" energy and create anxiety around your issues and then tell you the only way to sort your problems out to is have readings with them on a regular basis.

Often, you want a reading related to a specific area of your life such as relationship or a career, so it is helpful to find a psychic who is experienced in that area. You also need to be aware of the diverse ways in which psychics express their intuitions. The methods that psychics use vary from Tarot cards, to Numerology to the I Ching. Some psychics don't use anything but simply link in to your energy field. It is always best to follow your own intuition and go with what you feel easy with.

Successful readings are not just the responsibility of the psychic you have chosen. You have your role in arriving at an empowering experience. You must lower your emotional barriers to allow the psychic to link into where you are at. A psychic reading is a very interactive experience.

Psychics have a special ability to see and sense things that most people cannot. But they are not mind readers and will ask some questions. Don't waste your time or theirs by testing them.

Don't go into a reading just wanting to hear what you want. You must be open to hearing the truth. A good reading will not always tell you what you want but it will tell you what is best for you. A mature attitude is this way will make it much easier for your chosen psychic to do his or her best for you.

A final point to remember is that there is not much set in stone. All a psychic can really tell you are what outcomes appear to be likely based on the current patterns in your life and your energy.

Each of us has the power to change our lives. We are not victims. A psychic can support how your life is going at the moment or help you to be aware of changes you might need to make. In the end, you make the decisions. All a psychic can do is to help to do this, perhaps, more clearly
