Piano is probably the most expensive musical instruments among all types. Only who really love to play and be able to afford it could have one at their home. However, it is also the most pleasure musical instruments that generate soft and pleasure sound so even though it is expensive but still one of the most desirable musical instruments that people would love to play. However, piano is unlike other instruments due to its expensive price and sensitive sound generation mechanism. Piano need extra care and maintenance. However, for the first three or four years, if you have bought a new piano, you may not have to worry as most of sellers have warranty for every piano that they sell. But after the warranty period, it is your job to make sure that your piano plays to its maximum potential, but will also ensure that it worth value of money. The maintenance including caring exterior, which it has to be safe and clean and also you have to maintain its tune, which is very important for piano.

So far, as I mentioned that you have to constantly tuning your piano, so I am sure that many of you have a question in mind that why we have to constantly tuning piano. The most important reason is due to the mechanism inside of it. There were many small parts and strings in a piano, for strings that all of them stretched at high tension across the frame of the piano. The principle of tuning these strings, therefore, is actually adjust the degree of tensions of these strings, in the level of tension that we want to by maintain not too tight or not too lose.

However, the time or frequency of tuning your piano is also important. Regarding the question that how often that you should tune the piano is also taken into account. Generally, you should re-tuning your piano two times a year. However, it is also depends on how much the piano has been used during the period of time. For example, the more often you play the more frequent you have to re-tuning it.
