American Antiques, Power, Wealth, Vision - How NAFTA Helps More Than It Hurts

Mar 25, 2008
In politics everywhere, even your favorite politician is forced into some mindless blather about some issue that the locals worry about. That has been happening in Ohio, where Democrats who know better reply that if that town had a factory moved to Mexico or Canada, we would put a stop to that. Just as there are politicians in Canada and Mexico saying in towns that have also lost factories. In fact, we all know those factories are leaving this free trade zone and now in China.

So we think if there was action on this talk, we could all start to see we can follow that spiral inward and down that had the economy of the world of 1928 only half that by 1933. And who do we still have in charge of the treasury and the negotiations? Bugs Bunny and his oil pals. Duh, what's up, doc? Well, other the part of the world you touch becomes flammable, George, and the part at home you help bankrupt. Right on plan.

We have a grand continental trade empire, and if America wants walls, Canada and Mexico have oil. Hey, Tex, Mex and Sergeant Preston of the Mounties want to know if this is this a one way old Roman trading system: take their products, especially the oil, but ban them from Rome. Not our sort, really.

Many a NAFTA was torn apart during that time of foolish acts that history had not shown how to handle better. Let us pray with all the other folly of recent years we do not add to that. With a hollowed out treasury owned now by those who may not the interests of America as Job One, what is the wisest way out.

Same door you came in, going out backwards. As next leader of the world, America must consider and choose one who understands economics, not another nice man who has already shown he will rush and pay homage at Casa Blanca by the Potomac.

America has had a capacity to sense when the mutual decisions of far too many have gone too far too long. After Herbert Hoover America did not see a Republican President again the war hero Eisenhower, who we all sensed was the Force to stand up to Joe Stalin and Chairman Mao in Korea, until a stalemate of deaths brought the dividing line between free speech and liberal democracy and free capital exchange and state control to ensure poverty and endure slavery.

It is all still there in Korea, that barbed wire wall, like the Berlin Wall that did come down. This sad relic is a modern museum of the success of liberal democracy and free enterprise, facing of wall of sunken faces and despair. We can all see which way is the route to mutual happiness and success.

More Christian holy men have come out of the hills of South Korea since after the Korean War than one might ever have imagined, and have gained followings even in America. And we say that is all fine. Had America been of the faith of Buddha, we would have been with Korean missionaries of Buddha, once around again.

Which is only my way of saying that this is still Korea saying thank and God Bless You, America, for leading that charge. President Harry S. Truman did that, actually. Had to fire an arrogant man named MacArthur who wanted to use the Atom Bomb as the Chinese poured over the Korean border.

Now, they try to help manage the crisis in fear these poor wretches of North Korea, as if from a failed cruel hellish museum, still props along with the divine younger son leader of the initial despot who was such pals with Uncle Joe in Moscow. Time, gentlemen, please.

Greek democracy, with American antiques lessons of this example, with the British sense of free trade, has taken over the world. Could it be that the biggest thing we have to really fear is fear itself?
