Honolulu kids Vacations
Hawaii isn't just for Adults Anymore:- For the longest time, the ultimate adult vacation getaway spot was none other than Honolulu Hawaii. It was a place of romance where adults would go to spend endless lazy days on the beach or romantic evenings at local taverns and diners. Honolulu is still a great getaway for adults, but these days, the children haven't been left out of the equation. The Hawaiian Islands have realized that those who used to spend their vacations here for romantic getaways are now the proud parents of their own family, and thus will look for some place to go that caters to children also.
The Hawaii Children's Discovery Center:- One of the many popular spots for families with children is the Hawaii Children's Discovery Center. Here your children will have a ball with hundreds of interactive exhibits created specifically for them. Though the children do not generally realize it, while they are having fun at the four main sections, Fantastic You, Your Town, Your Rainbow World and Hawaiian Rainbows, they are actually learning. This wonderful establishment actually goes so far as to make learning a thrilling experience for the kids.
Mastering the Waves at Waikiki:- On the next day the parents can kick back and enjoy the beach just like the good old days before the children were born at the famed Waikiki Beach as the children are taken under the wings of licensed CPR certified lifeguards. The lifeguards will take the children out into the water and teach them how to surf. You cannot possibly imagine how much of a thrill this will be fore the children. Every kid wants to surf!
North Shore Know How:- Then, as a reward for learning how to surf, the parents can load the kids up and take them to the North Shore, the United States number one professional surfing spot. Of course, you won't want to let your children surf on this beach, as the waves are far too large and there is the occasional shallow reef, but it would be a real experience to just let the kids watch the professional surfers using the lessons that the children just spent the last few hours learning. After this, they will want to come back every year until they too can become pro level surfers!
The Sea Life Park:- Then there is the ever-popular Sea Life Park. This is a wonderful park actually placed on a mountainside. The parents will love the majestic views on the trip up, but the kids' fun will actually begin at the park. Here they will marvel at the various exhibitions of sea life, such as penguins, sea lions and dolphins. There is just something about dolphins that kids seem to love. If they are lucky, they might even have the opportunity to feed a dolphin!
The United States lays claim to hundreds of truly great vacation getaway spots for the entire family, but lets face it, if someone were to ask you what your perfect paradise would be, the tropical islands of Hawaii are always the first to pop into your mind.
