Every organization in every industry on the planet wants to attract the best people to their business. One of the most common objectives of any business owner who wants to grow their business is find quality people.

Do you want to recruit the best networkers for your down line? How about the most powerful business builders? The greatest customer getters?

Of course you would! All network marketers would love to have this type of a downline! However, These type of people do not all come right away. It takes preparation, practice, and time.

The number 1 factor in attracting this is to start treating your business as a successful multi-million dollar business. Dress up to the occasion, act up to the image, and learn to speak as if you already have that successful of a business today. The fundamental step is for you to become the type of person you want to recruit. Some like to say "fake it till you make it", but we would encourage you to be honest with yourself and with others, conceptually it is the same idea. Most importantly it is essential that you treat your business with the respect it deserves. There is no need to break your bank on a Rolex and an Armani suit, but do your personal best to look good when in a business atmosphere. If you look like you take your business seriously, people will take you seriously.

Lead by example and your downline will follow. Your downline will not do anything that you are not willing to do yourself.

There are 5 key elements to this business that are essential to you making any money. You must learn to get customers, recruit other people to get customers, teach other people both activities, lead by example in doing so, and most importantly be committed to ongoing education and consistent action. All of these elements are acquired abilities that you must learn to master along the road to success. Without having these skills ourselves, it is difficult to recruit and train others to have these skills.

Leading by example is a concept that will elevate your reputation, which in turn will raise the credibility of your entire team and as a result, all who come after will then follow suit. The bigger picture is that by raising the credibility of yourself and your group, it will ultimately raise the respect and credibility of your entire company.

Some people say "Well, when I grow a large team, then I'll worry about leading by example."

That is like an overweight person saying "I will start exercising and eating right after I lose a few pounds".

Here are a few ways you can lead by example;

Be consistent and arrive EARLY.

Dress professionally at meetings and show that your business is not just a hobby.

Raise the bar for customer acquisition. Don't make minimum requirements your goal!

Do everything you ask your downline to do, and even more.

Do what your leaders and co-founders recommend. Ask them what other things you can do to lead by example.

By consistently practicing being the best, you will develop a solid foundation of leadership and your team will naturally model your behavior.
