Every Teenager Can Be More Successful At Dating

Apr 4, 2008
The teenage dating world is a tough world. But I have written a guide that will help you succeed in this world! I have spent a lot of time talking to other teenagers who either are facing, or have faced, the same problems that you are right now. This guide is based on my own personal experiences, as well as those of the other teens I have talked to. This guide is not a 'magic fix'. But it will help you learn how to deal with the important issues that you are facing. With a little time and effort, you will find it much easier to get into the dating scene!

One of the most popular questions I often get is what do I do if I like someone, but they don't like me back? There is no magical button you can press that will make someone love you, it has to happen all by itself. If you are in a position like this it can be difficult to deal with. We've all been there, you have a big crush on someone and they don't even know you are there. But thinking about something you can't change will only drain your energy even more and will make finding that special someone that much harder.

First of all, you've to understand that one day you'll find a person that will appreciate the real person you are: that day will end your actual suffering. You'll see that, when you'll remember how you feel today, you'll find it very funny: you was looking for someone that were looking for you too! People is often obliged to wait, because some situations are inclined to solve by themselves.

Everyone has to endure being a teenager. The strong emotions of that time can be positive. The problem is when emotions spark jealousy. If the person you're with is checking out someone else, don't react immediately. Communication is vital. Tell them what you saw and what you think. You might have misinterpreted the whole thing. Of course, you might have been exactly right. You don't have to end the relationship; discuss it!

Its fine to be hit by the jealousy bug. All of us go through it, but its irrational jealousy that hits very hard and difficult to handle. This can lead to paranoia and constant unrest suspecting if your partner is cheating. Although this is common worry with these kind of relationships, letting it to take over your live is unhealthy and can entirely spoil the relationship itself. Before it is too late do a reality check, whether the jealousy you feel is justified.

In the beginning, we are not able to judge whether it is love or not? The most common question asked by teenagers is, "How can I know whether I have fallen in love or not?" And my instant answer to all such questions is that you will yourself feel it when it will happen and come to know yourself. If you think about someone all the time then it need not be love. It can be a mere obsession also.

Lust is also compared to love but is not nearly as meaningful. Many of us have felt very strongly towards someone. You see them as being beautiful and attractive. Combining this lust with obsession can trap many people and will usually lead to an unfulfilling relationship.

This next issue is something many teens ask me how to deal with and I always give them this tip. A big problem regarding the love lives of teens is parents. Old fashioned parents often believe their younger teens shouldn't date and will disapprove of current boyfriends or girlfriends. An important step to dealing with this problem is to be on good terms with parents. Otherwise it will be that much harder to deal with the issue.

At the end of the day, you need to remember that your parents are always there for you. You might find it hard to imagine, but they've gone through many of the same things you're going through now and they're relying on their past experience to help you. Every good relationship depends upon good communication, whether it's a romantic one, the ones you have with friends or the one between you and your parents. Keeping things hidden from the ones you love, especially your parents, will only lead to sorrow.

This is one thing that is on everyone's mind, flirting tips. The biggest and easiest way to start flirting is to start a conversation. One needs to pickup the other person's body language and clues they may give you. Maintain eye contact while talking. Be relaxed, smile, and laugh; build on the conversation. And simply, have fun!
