There are plenty of great ideas you can find to benefit your bed & breakfast business. The goal of each of them should be to show guests exactly what you have to offer them. They may hesitate to make that first reservation but if you make it extremely enticing they will give you a chance to prove yourself. There is a good chance they will become regular customers at that point and even send you more business due to the praise they have to say to people they know.

You will need to have a plan of action when it comes to your promotions though. For example if you are continuously full on weekends but not one weekdays you need to change that. Offer a discounted price on weekdays. This can gain you business that would otherwise be going to a local hotel or motel.

You can also offer a free weeknight with a weekend purchase. This can get guests to stay an extra day. Paying for two nights and getting three during the weekdays will also help guests to save money. They will find this appealing and definitely choose it over paying for a hotel room for three days.

You also need to offer a very competitive price so watch where other similar businesses are. Hotels and motels are your competition as well so know their prices. You don't want to be too high or you will lose out on a number of guests. People can also become skeptical if you are too low so try to be very close to what others similar to your business are charging.

Don't pass over those that have already frequented your business though. It is harder to get new people than it is to keep current customers happy. Do all you can to make sure they know you appreciate their stay. Offer them special promotions that you send to their email account. Offer nice raffles and drawings where they can win fabulous prizes as well.

Since it is common for people to share their experiences with others, you will likely get plenty of word of mouth. To get those tongues wagging even more though provide them with rewards for each person that they refer to you. Of course you only want to count those that keep their reservations.

Use the power of the internet to help your bed & breakfast business as well. Allow the guests to have access to everything from looking at your business to setting up their reservations. You can give them a discount for taking care of all the details on their own. People love to save money and if you promote it that way they will be more inclined to take you up on the offer.

There are all sorts of promotions you can offer for your bed & breakfast. Be creative and look for ways to fill up your slots every day. Your goal should be to operate at full capacity. Cutting prices and giving away free nights are going to really promote what you have to offer and get people coming in on a regular basis.
