What Does Problem Solving have to do with the Law of Attraction?

Apr 10, 2008
Those who are able to think very clearly about issues tend to do better with emotions and their actions then the rest of us. Yet there isn't a person out there who hasn't been confused by a situation from time to time. Our heart and our mind don't always collaborate when it comes to the path we should take in relation to the issue. This can result in us having a hard time focusing as well as being emotionally drained. Some people stay in this mode all the time though because they never do come to the conclusion that they are confused about what is going on.

Therefore, if we want to achieve our dreams faster we have to get over our confusion and be more focused. This is easier said than done. It is not impossible though because focused questioning has proved to be a great antidote to a confused mind. Focused questions help us clarify what we already know and draw our attention to the gaps in our knowledge. "Most teachers waste their time by asking questions which are intended to discover what a pupil does not know, whereas the true art of questioning has for its purpose to discover what the pupil knows or is capable of knowing." - Albert Einstein Focused questioning has come to be known as the Mind-storming processes. It has three basic questions

1. What is the Problem?

This is likely why the great Albert Einstein was convinced that teachers don't ask the right questions. He felt they should be asking students to share what they do know instead of asking them about what they have no clue about. There are three main questions that fit into this process:

3. How Do I Get What I Want

2. What is it that you really want to achieve as the result of the situation?

3. What methods can you incorporate to ensure are able to get those types of results from the situation?

Take a short period of time to answer these three questions for yourself. Don't analyze the answers you come up with. Write them down so you can review them in more detail later on. Your answers may be things you can physically do or mentally do for yourself. Emotions that a person has as well as their Spiritual beliefs can affect the answers that they come up with.

To help you in this exercise divide your sheet of paper into 3 and List

1.What do I want

You can get more in depth information with this one by doing a very simple written exercise. Divide the piece of paper into three columns. Next you need to make a list in each of them that reflects:

1. What is it that you really want from this particular situation? 2. What do you certainly not want to see happen as a result of this particular situation? 3. What is the exact opposite of what you do not want to see happen as a result of this particular situation?

Again, write down this list fast, not judging the accuracy or feasibility of what you are writing. Now combine your lists in the first and last column. This will give you a much clearer focus on your goal.

You can get what you want be focusing on your positive energy. You can make this process much easier for yourself just by looking for a good solution to your problem. Find out what has worked and not worked for others in a similar situation. Then you can take that information and tweak it to fit your own specific needs. This is going to be one of the most effective tools you can use in making the road to your goals an easier one to walk down.

You can do yourself a favor and learn from the failures as well as the accomplishments of others. You don't have to go all the way back to the drawing board in order to be successful. Find out what has worked for other people with your same situation. You will likely find several methods that have been tried and worked well. You can then choose the one that seems to evoke the most positive emotions from you. Taking such shortcuts to establish your goal can allow you to focus more of your time on what steps you are going to have to take in order to reach those goals.

A good course of action for you would be to also ask yourself some questions that Jim Rohn has put out there:

1.What could I do? 2.What could I read? 3.Who could I ask?

Honestly acknowledging your problems, searching for feasible solutions that are positive, and then visualizing how you are going to achieve them is very important. It can happen and you can certainly benefit from the Law of Attraction if you desire to do so.
