Beanbag Options For The Children

Apr 14, 2008
If you are doing up a nursery or are re-doing a child's room, you are probably looking at children's furniture and discovering that it carries a pretty hefty price tag. Who wants to pay $500 for a dresser set or over $350 for bed but they are just going to outgrown in a couple of years? When buying furniture for a child's room, you are going to want to choose things that are going to be able to grow with them and are pieces that they will be able to take away with them when they are older. You may be thinking that a race car bed it is going to look cool, but it is probably something that they won't want to take with them to their first apartment. One item of furniture that is going to grow with a child from their toddler years all the way up until they head off to college is the beanbag. A beanbag chair is the perfect addition to any room, because not only can they fit in small spaces, but they are going to be super comfortable and a place for children to really relax in.

There are so many different ideas on how to use a beanbag chair in a child's room. In a boy's room, bean bag chairs are going to be the perfect place for them to play video games. If you are buying a television set or video game console for your child to have in their room, a beanbag chair is going to be the best place where are they can play. What's great about this furniture is that if they end up spilling juice or getting the bag very dirty, you can just take the cover off and pop in the washing machine and it won't be that big of a deal. Plus, unless the room is huge, you may not have a lot of room for full furniture - a bean bag chair can be moved in and out of the way whenever it is needed.

In a girl's room, a beanbag chair is going to be really great right next to the phone table. All girls like to talk on the phone, so having a chair right next to the phone can be a great and comfortable place for your daughter to chat the hours away.

If you are a parent, the price difference between children's furniture and bean bags is going to be obvious. You don't want to spend a lot of money on kid-sized furniture when your kids are just going to ruin it or outgrow it in a couple of years. With bean bags, you are going to be able to wash the covers at any time, and keep it looking nice for a long time. If something does happen, it's not that big of an investment, so you don't have to worry too much.

What's great about beanbag furniture is that it is going to fit into any room and be able to be pushed into a corner when it is not being used. Children's rooms are typically pretty small, but that doesn't mean that your son or daughter doesn't want to feel comfortable in their own room. Beanbag furniture is going to put the finishing touches on any child's bedroom.
