However, just making a web site is not enough to make it in this marketplace. As more and more internet sites come up all over the place, you have to make sure that yours is built for speed, search engines, and conversions.

When you are talking about a web site being built for speed you are mostly talking about one thing, and that is web hosting. Sure it can refer to other things, but the main thing you are going to have to deal with is the web hosting. If you get your site put on a server that is slow, that is going to slow down the traffic that comes to your web site and most importantly, your sales! In business, time is money. That's even more true for business on the Web that have low band internet connections.

People want the internet to move fast, and for that reason, if the page they are trying to load comes up very slow then they are not going to spend much time on it. By optimizing and building keywords rich content for your website you will keep the search engine crawlers happy. That will result in a better search engine ranking for your website.

However, another thing that you are going to need to keep in mind is the quality of your web pages. Try to focus each keyword rich content page around 500- 800 words. Search engine crawlers likes to index 500- 800 words web pages. If your page is to big you will loose your keywords relevancy.

Last, you have to get a nice conversion ratio. Conversion ration refer to the percentage of visitors who end up performing a positive action such as completing a sale transaction, signing up for your newsletter or downloading your e-books. You must let them know immediately how they can find what they are looking for on your website.

If you pages are cluttered with too many areas and too many links the visitors attention is scattered and they find it hard to find what they are looking for. So lets go to work and try to work out the above points.
