It's easy to plan a family vacation, a weekend fishing retreat or any other fun fishing activity at Kentucky Lake and you can bet that you will be successful with the crappie.

Where to Fish on Kentucky Lake

Depending on the time of year that you visit Kentucky Lake, the weather is usually quite nice. Exactly where you'll find the best crappie depends on the season, the weather that day, the time of day and also the spawning season of the crappie. If the crappie are not spawning at the time you are there, try fishing in deeper waters. If it is a spawning time, try fishing around brush and debris and the edges of the water near the banks or by structures. Crappie will usually be closer to the surface during spawn.
