Pay Per Click Is A Temporary Advertising Solution

Apr 25, 2008
Pay per click is an extremely effective marketing tool. It aims to bring the most qualified, and the most targeted traffic to your website. Pay Per Click is a quick way to put your site on top of the search engines and bring targeted traffic to your site. We provide PPC on several search engines such as Google and Yahoo, the two biggest search engines bringing in millions of people daily.

Pay per click is a very controllable way of marketing your site. You may change your bids up or down as often as you like and you can set limits of how much you will pay each month.

Pay-per-click is not a banner ad, but this does serve to indicate the market. The medium appears to have "found its level". Pay-Per-Click is a simple type of paid advertising that most search engines, including some of the largest ones, now offer. It requires a bid for a "per-click" basis, which translates to your company paying the bid amount every time the search engine directs a visitor to your site.

Pay-per-click advertisements are usually displayed with the highest paying bidder in the top or most prominent position. Navigating the complex web of Internet marketing, publishers and marketers are often confronted with terms that seem foreign.

Pay-per-click search engines offer advertisers capitalism at its rawest. The "content" of these engines, ultimately, is pure commercialism: the more you pay, the better exposure you get.

Search engines are the gateway to the Internet; they are the first tool that potential customers use to find the products and services they need. This is why link popularity is so imperative. Search match ads are positioned on the top and right-hand side of a search engine results page. The content match ads are displayed either horizontally or vertically on the page.

Google has over 70% of all the searches right now. So, in the long run you need to be placed highly in Google. Google AdWords has very strict standards on spacing and presentation. You may only have 25 characters in your title for example and 35 characters each in your 2 subsequent lines.

Google is not a pay per click search engine, but it does provide pay per click advertising in text ad boxes to the right of search results it delivers. It also delivers pay per click ads to other content sites.

Google has also come up with a similar version of pay per click advertising (AdWords) that has taken over some of the engines that used to display Yahoo results (most notably AOL Search). Google, Yahoo and MSN have free tracking tools that work great. Google users chose natural results 72% of the time, Yahoo users 60% and MSN users clicked on paid ads 71% of the time. AOL users were split 50-50 chosing either paid or natural search results half of the time.

In my opinion pay per click is overated and underscored by people trying to defraud the pay per click industry and pocket cash. A better more effective form of advertising is direct advertising. There are several sites that allow you to place an ad on several highly trafficked websites at a much more affordable rate than PPC advertising and in all cases will bring much more traffic than any pay per click ever could.
