How to Lose Fat for Life

Trying to lose fat is a goal that many share even if you are a little overweight. Have you ever seen someone who loses weight only to look a little smaller, but still "fat?" Or are you one of those who are looking for a fat loss program as opposed to a weight loss program?

Losing fat can be a challenge for anyone. But, by sticking to simple rules and learning the real reason why you are fat, you may make it easier for yourself to lose fat and keep it off.

Note that the first few days of any change in habits is the hardest. This is the learning process. But - cravings are intense causing many of us to fail. In addition, the markets are loaded with "light foods" and "fat free" foods that don't work. These are nearly as bad as eating the regular version of the foods. (Do you really think that eating light baloney will help you lose weight?)

Obesity is an epidemic in America with 68% of the population considered obese. This pattern is not reducing, but growing. Many times it is blamed on genetics, hormonal imbalances, poor diet, or lack of self control. The fact is that all of these can be factors in weight gain or a higher body fat percentage. Nothing is working to reduce weight, including diets and weight loss drugs. It is time to change your way of thinking.

Simply put - you have been misguided with wrong information. We have all been given wrong information for years. For example; calories are what makes you fat. So if you eat less calories, you will lose weight. But what if your diet is only 1200 calories but these calories are in the form of cookies? See the flaw? You may lose some weight, but not fat.

All fats in food are bad is another lie you have been told. Some people still believe that avocados make you fat. Now we know there are different kinds of fat and some are necessary. In fact, if you do not eat "good fats," you can cause a range of health issues from hormonal imbalances to depression and heart disease. The truth is that good fats like Omega 3's and 6's are needed for good health and help you lose fat!

And the grandest of misinformation is that your body knows how to cleanse itself and will do so when necessary. Even a "board certified nutritionist" claimed that your body can cleanse out whatever it doesn't need. This flaw is obvious. This is simply stating that if you eat what your body doesn't need, such as excess calories and fat, your body will eliminate it.

This is obviously wrong. There are too many people who are overweight and cannot lose fat. This is because if you eat too much, your body doesn't eliminate the excess, your body stores it! Add to this the fact that it does matter what type of calories you eat.

Many of today's foods are processed and full of the chemicals used to process them. Unfortunately, your body doesn't have the genes to tell it what to do with man-made chemicals. This can cause problems since toxins such as chemicals and heavy metals can be stored in the fat and fluids that surround fatty areas.

The reality is your body cannot cleanse without help. When there is too much burden on your body, it simply cannot perform its job - one of these jobs is cleansing, or eliminating excess waste. It is becoming clear that storing toxins can make it difficult to lose fat. In fact, recent studies have also shown that certain toxins interfere with and even mimic hormones.

Now the worst news - we are animals and all animals get parasites. Just because our technology is more advanced and chemicals abound doesn't make us immune to this problem. If this were true we should also be immune to bacteria and virus. But, even though we cannot see them, we know they exist and can hurt us, so we take precautions and even take antibiotics to combat the problem.

Parasites are a common problem which is ignored by the medical community. This is a gross subject and we don't want to talk about it. But ignoring a problem will not eliminate it. The truth is that humans have taken action to combat parasites for centuries. Older cultures have used different forms of parasite control from taking regular garlic cloves to eating pumpkin seeds on a regular basis. It is only modern society that ignores the problem.

Have you ever wondered why we can't overcome our cravings, or why we are all addicted to junk food? If self-control was an inborn problem for humans, we would have eaten ourselves into extinction long ago. A fact is that parasites excrete waste products which can accumulate in your hypothalamus. This waste buildup can inhibit function, causing your body to store excess fat instead of eliminating it.

If you are serious about losing fat then you need to eliminate what is making your fat. Cleansing your body and taking herbs for a parasite cleanse can help many people. You can help your body cleanse by eliminating junk or processed food, eating more fresh vegetables, fruits and unprocessed whole grains and drinking plenty of fresh water. When used properly, this type of program can help you stay healthier, younger, have more energy and lose the fat for good.
