The Techniques Of A Sensual Massage

May 7, 2008
Ask anyone and they will tell you that the perfect massage can be a very euphoric process. If one was to learn how to create the perfect massage, then they would likewise have a very exciting romance life and better chances at finding the perfect relationship. Thus, learning how to massage can be a very important goal indeed.

A good massage can't occur if there isn't any proper lubricant available. Lubricant will enable the one give the massage to better shape and mold the skin to their liking. Any oil based or water based lubricant will do, although some opt for alternatives such as talc powder since it doesn't leave an oily or greasy feeling after the massage.

Setting the mood during a massage is also a good idea, so the one receiving the massage will be more affected by the surrounding. This means lighting incense or candles is a good way to bring both dim light and good odors into the room. This will help employ both sense, in addition to the touch of the massage, to give the recipient a dramatic and sensual massage.

The overall goal in the massage is to release the endorphins of the one receiving the massage. Endorphins are a chemical that is released that will essentially resolve stress and any negative feelings, and then will actually create a positive feeling that can be described as euphoric. Although this state can be tough to achieve, the perfect massage will be able to do this with ease.

When giving a massage, it is important to note that not all massages should be deep muscle massages all the time. This can lead to pain, sensitivity, and generally doesn't feel that great. Although deep muscle massages are indeed good when used sparingly, it's important to always incorporate lighter massages into the mix as well.

Lighter massages are much like the deep muscle massages in the fact that they should only be used sparingly. Light massages, typically called feather massages, will commonly give a very unique sense of relief that harder massages can't give. It should be noted, however, that this feeling does not last and the body becomes accustomed to it after a short period of time, and thus, it should be used sparingly.

Proper technique in massaging is very important. While giving occasional massages is perfectly safe, extended exposure to the wrong massaging methods can cause harm to one's muscles or back structure. In that case, it is usually a good idea to take a small class or read books on the subject of massaging before trying to commit to a regular massage schedule.

In conclusion, the perfect massage is easy to obtain- simply find a way to best release endorphins and create the sense of euphoria that is so sought after. Of course if you still can't seem to get it right, there are instructional books and videos that can greatly aid the process of giving the perfect massage.
