Is using medication to lower your blood pressure driving you up the wall? You have to take them every day and they present so many side effects. At last in the power of five easy steps you can normalize your blood pressure. ....

High blood pressure is a condition that many may have and not know, because of this it is usually left untreated and leads to a potentially dangerous disease called hypertension. Medication is often used to lower high blood pressure however, there are several steps to take in order to help yourself naturally cure hypertension.

It is first important to assess your diet. This is one of the quickest and easiest ways to lower high blood pressure. The things that you eat have a major impact on your blood pressure. In order to naturally cure hypertension, focus on the things that you are putting into your body. Eating fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy on a daily basis, and if you do not have high blood pressure, eating well will help you to keep it in safe range, as it is one of hypertension's prevention clauses. It is said that drinking a glass of wine once in a while and indulging in some dark chocolate can really help reduce blood pressure, the key however is moderation.

Other causes of high blood pressure are stress and anxiety. Although these alone may not cause its occurrence, they play a significant role in aggravating it, or may aggravate situations in which your blood pressure might be raised. Therefore, in order to lower high blood pressure, try to keep a handle on your stress and anxiety whenever possible. One can also try stress relieving methods as well. In order to naturally cure hypertension, try to relieve as much of the stress in your life as possible.

Being overweight or obese is a major cause of high blood pressure. Be sure to try every method possible to lose any excess weight that you have, so that there may be less weight for your body to need to carry around. Your heart, lungs, and the rest of your body systems will have less work to perform, which will help to lower your high blood pressure. Participate in an exercise program and strengthen your hearts and lungs. Getting enough exercise is one of the best ways that you can loose excess weight, enhance the circulatory system and eventually lead to lower blood pressure.

The next step is avoiding salt, though it is a part of your diet it was placed on its own so I could expand on it. Salt also known as sodium, makes up one of the two major minerals which help the flow of substances in and out of the cell. This sodium also plays a major role in the fluid leveling system in the body. Too much salt intake leads to an increase in the fluid levels which in turn leads to a higher blood volume. There will be absolute rise in your blood pressure, do try to avoid excessive ingestion of salt and you will feel the difference by the next day.

The fifth step, to lower high blood pressure is to monitor your blood pressure and keep a note of it every day. You may not always want to the doctor's office to monitor your blood pressure every time, purchase your own blood pressure monitor. You will now be able to take stock of your own blood pressure, where you will have hands on knowledge of the differences in your body by taking control of your health something which we normally disregard, but one which is very important.

Five simple steps, to help yourself naturally cure hypertension at your fingertips. Now, exterminate high blood pressure, if you know that you are at risk for high blood pressure, start lowering your high blood pressure now. Live the healthiest way that you possibly can. My advise is to do it as mother nature intended and that is to do it naturally!
