Existence, Society And You - Discovering Pleasure, Ecstasy And Value For Value Relationships

May 13, 2008
Demolishing the myths of existence

There are basically two ways of looking at your existence. One is from the point of view of you as an individual. The other is from the belief that you are a part of a whole or what is called the collective.

Unfortunately there has been a sharp dividing line drawn between the two. First you have the stereotype of the rugged individualist who stops at nothing to rise to the top--stepping on anyone or anything that gets in his way. This is largely a myth. After all, how could you possibly accomplish anything without the cooperation of others?

The other idea is that you are a piece of society or the collective and because of that you are protected from the greedy individualist. The systems of communism, socialism and interventionism were supposed to be supportive of the common man and level the playing field so everyone had an even advantage.

This is obviously a myth. The social systems of communism and socialism brought mass poverty and starvation to the masses. While the interventionist systems of the Western economies especially the United States is leading us down the path of ruin and destruction.

Some conclude that there is no reconciliation between the individual and society. Irreconcilable differences will always exist among people. War, hate and degradation are the lot of mankind.

I have some exciting news for you. You can live your life as an individual, sacrificing your values to no one and still achieve that state of oneness that metaphysicians have dreamed about for thousands of years. You can live The Libertarian Way.

After all, competition and cooperation are two sides of the same coin. Where ignorance prevails, especially about the laws of human action--where religions are systems of us vs. you, one pitted against the other--all the negative aspects of humanity will control.

For the most part, competition will continue to be vicious dog eat dog. Cooperation will be practiced from the point of view of getting as much value as possible and giving little in return. We will continue to sacrifice our children's future and even our children's children's future. And of course we will destroy our own chance of a life of pleasure and ecstasy.

Once enough people understand the laws of human action and metaphysical truths become firmly entrenched in most of mankind--the days of enlightenment will be with us. The positive aspects of humanity will prevail.

Competition will be to see who serves people in the most efficient way. Cooperation will mean working together and eagerly trading value for value. We will adopt the social system of unhampered capitalism.

Your exciting journey

This wonderful body-mind expanding journey can begin with one individual at a time. It can begin with you.

Living The Libertarian Way means that you're experiencing all the pleasures, joys and ecstasies of life. You are trading value for value with others. The more pleasure you give the more you receive. Both you and the person you're exchanging value with believe they are benefiting from the relationship. This is a relationship that is both selfish and giving.

Most believe that selfish and giving are mutually exclusive things. How wrong they are. This is another illusion that has resulted in much misery and unhappiness. Giving and receiving pleasure is both selfish and generous. Give the best that you have--and receive as pleasurably and as graciously as possible.

A perfect example of the above is a sexual relationship between two lovers. I know from my own relationship that the more pleasure I give to my woman the more pleasure I experience.

You can draw the conclusion that if one person is sacrificing and the other is benefiting--it is not a value for value relationship. In the end the relationship will break down and both individuals will suffer the loss.

Discover what your values, fantasies and desires are. Go after them with gusto. I'm sure that you can find someone who will indulge you--a special person who in return will be experiencing his or her highest values, desires and fantasies. And that is what The Libertarian Way is all about--experiencing all the pleasures and ecstasies of life.
