The History of Music
Music has been a part of human civilization for ages. Throughout ages music has been played in different forms by different civilizations and different nations as a symbol.
Some people used music for religious purposes while others used it for merry making. Music is one of those recreational activities which will make you feel relaxed and happy at the same time.
A large number of people all around the world are obsessed with music, they use it as a tool to release their tension and forget everything in their life. Over time music has divided into a large number of different forms.
With some many forms of music like jazz, blues, classical, ambient, rock, country, and others, it is hard to see why rap is gaining ground in the music world.
1. East coast: this refers to New York; some of the notable singers were Rakim, Big Daddy and Run-D.M.C. As a result of there efforts east coast became popular nation wide.
2. West Coast: in the mid 1980s west coast got its popularity against East Coast rap. Some of there notable singers were Too Short and Ice Tea.
3. Ghetto Mafia was partly responsible for influencing rap in the south. This came after both the west and east coasts had their success.
4. Gangsta Rap: there is a little bit of confusion about the singer who brought gangsta rap on a national level. Some people think that it was Ice Tea while others say it was N.W.A who took this rap on a national level.
There are other types of rap music like Pop Rap, Jazz Rap, Christian Rap, Electro Hip hop and Conscious Rap. They all have emerged after 1980s and till now they have became popular all around the US.
You can find a huge number of music genres all around the world. Some are specific for entertainment purposes while others for religious purposes. Its not possible to know about all of these genres so it can be difficult to identify all of them.
Music plays an important part in religion. Music is used for prayer as well as meditation. It is also used in important parts of ceremonies.
It doesn't matter what religion you are. Music has always played a big role in the services. It will continue to do so forever.
