The Relief From Wind Using Homoeopathy

May 21, 2008
Although I've never gone to a medical doctor and asked for medicine to increase my wind, I have taken products like figs. There are also foods which are well known for the production of wind, namely baked beans and eggs.

I've seen in a number of yoga books which say, that if you put natural substances in your body the more your body will reward you by allowing you to live the life you want. Consider sports people; we all know that in order to survive their training regime the correct diet is essential. While it is better to go to a fully qualified homoeopathy practitioner, it is not essential. You can learn quite a lot of information from the internet. I have used both sources. Neither unfortunately worked. But it is worth bearing in mind that even though these homoeopathic remedies did not cure my wind, it does not mean that they will not do it for you. Also bear in mind that all the time that you are taking these you didn't know what conditions they are preventing from building up.

Some people have found that New Era Tissue Salts a useful alternative to homoeopathy. This is because New Era Tissue Salts come in tablet form and the symptoms that are designed for is shown on the label. It should be noted that they are homoeopathically prepared. People are intolerant to lactose should be wary about taking New Era Tissue Salt because it contains milk sugar.

Bach floral remedies are gaining in popularity. Bach floral remedies are flower and plant extracts. They are available in health food shops. Rescue remedy is a mixture of ingredients from five plants. It is very popular. Four drops on the tongue can give you a new outlook on stress, nerves, exam blues. It also calms the digestive system which may lead to the production of less wind, which means less embarrassing moments.

I am a trained Massage Therapist. One of the reasons I did a massage course was to see if it would help me with my need to break wind to keep the abdominal pain [from irritable bowel] at bay. Try this. Lie on your back on the floor. Starting at the stomach area on the right hand side just above the hip, place the pads of three fingers of your right hand into the stomach area, not hard though. Place the left hand on top of the right hand. Perform small circular movements while you trace a path up towards the bottom of your ribs. Then move your hands, again in small circular movements to the left hand side of the stomach area just below the ribs. Finally trace a path down to the hip whilst performing small circular movements. When you've finished you've essentially traced around the stomach area. Repeat the entire process a few times and do it slowly. That should help you break wind.
