As a web entrepreneur, you should always be looking for new ways to promote your online business and increase your sales. But once you've actually sold an item, the chances to make money don't stop there.

Businesses are not made of one time buyers. Just because you have a person that buys from you one time, you are not set for life. You have to come up with a plan to turn these one time buyers into life long customers. Only when you have a lot of long term customers can your business flourish the way that it's suppose to.

Now the real question you have to be asking is, how do you do that? How do you take this one time buyer, and turn him into a person that is going to come back for more and more. This is where persistence comes in. You have to be persistent with people who only buy from you one time. You have to show them that you care about their business, and you will do what it takes to keep them as a customer. So how do you do that?

There are many different tips and tricks that you can use to stay persistent with customers. One of the best and most useful ways is to get their email address. This is why when you buy from a company online, you usually have to enter in your email address. This way they have a way to get back in touch with you. This is their way of being able to stay persistent. In fact, most of the big time Internet stores do this. After you buy from them one time, you will get sales letters in your email from time to time. These letters are full of new items and great sales. This is to get that one time buyer to come back into the store and buy again. This is an idea that is good to use for your own business.

This actually brings us to your next way to get one time buyers to come back for more, and that is to offer great sales. From time to time, you have to remind people why they are buying from you and not someone else. After buying from you since the beginning, they will feel more comfortable buying from you and they will buy from no one else. However, you have to set this up first. The best way to do that is to offer amazing sales, from time to time, that are going to undercut other stores. This way the customer will see that you have the best deals in town, and they are going to stick with you. That is how you turn a one time buyer into a long term customer.

And Oh! I forgot: Great customer service is also a must have to get repeat business. But if you want to move beyond good customer service, you have to exceed those expectations. That kind of customer service is what makes your customers loyal.
