How to Touch a Woman You Just Met

Jun 7, 2008
Meeting a girl at a bar can be awkward at first. You walk up, say something friendly, and continue the conversation with two feet of space between you. Five minutes later, she says she has to go to the bathroom, and says she'll talk to you later. She never comes back.

What happened?

In many cases, you just didn't touch her early enough. We're taught from a young age to be respectful and not "grope" a woman or start pawing her like a drunk animal. After all, aren't there a lot of sexual harassment suits these days?

While it's always important to keep your hands off women in the workplace, the bar is a completely different environment. In a bar or club, it is not considered harassment to affectionately touch a woman you just met. Even if you are "over-gropey," the worst that happens is she excuses herself and forgets about it ten minutes later.

In fact, if you don't touch her at all the first five minutes, it becomes very awkward when you finally do start touching her. It just doesn't feel natural to touch her suddenly, so start early.

You should touch the woman as soon as you medet her. Put your hand on her shoulder when you introduce yourself, or your hands on the shoulders of the girls closest to you, if there's two or more. You can keep touching as you gesture and make a point, as well as shake hands. A playful tap, or push is nice too.

When you are touching this way, you come off as a guy who feels comfortable sharing space with women. Women then become very comfortable with your touch, as it doesn't seem like a big deal to you. Later on, this makes it easier to progress to more intimate touching.

In a trendy bar or club, you can take this even farther, and get some more sexual touching going on. Lean in and whisper in her ear. Pull her into you, waist to waist, and then maybe push her off, so she feels her buying temperature spike from being around you. This can feel different at first if you're new at this, but over time, it becomes very natural. It's ok to be "Mr. Creepy Touchy Guy" for a night, if you just need to get the hang of it. Rub your hands lightly over her arms, brush a stray hair from her face, and turn up the romantic juice. If any ladies you ask tell you this is too much for someone you just met, go to a bar yourself, and see how men are interacting with women there. The ones most close and touchy are NOT usually boyfriend and girlfriend. If you don't believe me, go ahead and ask them! They usually just met tonight.

With this, you have some nuclear level strategy on how to get a woman into you with your touch. As you get better at this, kissing and inviting a girl to leave the club with you will come very naturally. Just follow the instructions, and if it doesn't work the first few times, keep doing it until it feels natural. Most importantly, make it fun!
