Fight Acne Scars of all Kinds with Acnezine

Jun 18, 2008
Scars caused by acne are more frequent than doctors originally assumed. Most of the cases of these scars are mild, but few cases of these may be scars are very large and evident to others. Early prevention and immediate treatment of even very mild acne is the best way to lower the threat of permanent acne scars.

Tissues react in two ways due to inflammation of acne. This includes the enhanced formation and loss of tissues. Keloids or hypertrophic (enlargement or overgrowth) scars are the scars occur due to enhanced tissue formation.

When skin is injured, the cells respond with the production of a substance called collagen, and overproduction can cause keloids and hypertrophic scars. These Keloids and hypertrophic scars are fibrous masses of collagen that are of irregular shape and are smooth and firm.

There is a genetic predisposition to form keloids after tissue injury. In other words "it runs in the family". This is especially true for African-Americans, who often have a predisposition to keloid formation. Some families are also predisposed to forming hypertrophic acne scars or thickened acne scars.

Scars that occur due to loss of tissue are more common than the scars caused by enhanced tissue formation. Several types of scar come under this type of scar. Ice-pick acne scar is one of them, which derive its name from their superficial of deep wound with small diameter like and ice-pick wound. The deeper scars are harder in consistency, while the superficial ones are softer.

The base of hard scars that lies under the skin can be wider than the scar at the surface of the skin. Usually depressed fibrotic acne scars are large and have sharp margins and steep sides. They appear similar to deep chicken pox scars. Superficial and deep soft acne scars vary in size and have sloping edges that merge with normal skin.

Follicular macular atrophy is likely to occur on the chest or back of a person suffering from acne. In likeness to whiteheads, these are small, white, soft lesions barely raised above the surface of the skin. This is also known as "perifollicular elastolysis" and may persist for months and in some cases, years.

Several type of treatment available in the market for the treatment of acne scars, but most of them causes unwanted side effects. Acnezine is a naturally available medicine for the treatment of acne and plays a key role in reducing acne without any side effects.
