Think about auctions for your next vehicle purchase

Jun 20, 2008
If you have ever been to a dealership then I don't have to tell you of the hassles that they can put you through. Picking out the car you want isn't that easy. Salesmen try to stick you in a car no matter if you can afford it or not, regaurdless if you like it or not.

It's not about what you want when you go to a dealership. It's all about the money the salesmen can make. In order to do that, they put you in a car they know you can't afford.

Dealerships will also try and connect you with one of their banks for financing...this is good and bad. Convienece is really a factor when signing paperwork, especially if the dealership can handle everything. At times the dealership will connect you with a bank that will approve you of a loan you wouldn't normally recieve. That's not it...the interest rate will usually go through the roof so that money can be made off your loan.

Reading your contract will help you identify all the hidden cost. Normally, people are so excited to have a new car that they sign without reading and that could lead to charges that you may or may not be able to afford. Dealerships should be your second choice and ausctions should be your first!

Auctions are normally less expensive that a car dealership or a privately owned buyer. Some of the vehicles are government seized vehicles and can be sold to the highest bidder. Many people don't know about auctions so you can normally get it at a cheaper cost if there aren't that many people bidding.

When buying a car it should not be a lot of trouble. An auction is an excellent idea for a no hassle purchance. Paying what you want for a car you want is every cutomers dream.
