Easy Fat Burning Food Diet

Don't you wish they would announce a super food that would be like those quickie meals on Star Trek where they would eat but never seem to gain weight? I suppose that would be engineered food that would be perfect nutritionally, but modified. Well, something as good and totally natural is available right at the local grocery. It's called fat burning foods.

Not until a few years ago did these named foods even have a place in the nutritional guides. But today they tell us goodies like apples and blackberries, pineapples and carrots (not combined, fortunately), are actually very good for us and are foods that burn more calories than they put on our bodies! I recently studied the group of yummy foods and indeed it's true.

It turns out that it's not nirvana - eating a group of foods and then lying around watching Letterman and you're in tip-top shape. You have to exercise as well because that helps start the metabolism and it appears that the fat burning foods really kick in. So really, how is this any different than any other body fat loss program of eating right and exercising?

I wanted to find out if others had success in this strategy and I was pleased to find that hundreds of people if not more have had great success using fat burning foods and moderate exercise. Even the websites that review the fat burning systems say that you can use these foods with a good exercise program and you'll simply burn fat faster. That sounded like a winner to me so I decided to give it a try.

So I put the fat burning foods to the test right in my home. I purchased the foods and stayed right on the diet of meals made with them and then I included moderate exercise - which for me means jogging on the beach and bouncing on the mini trampoline. Over two weeks I took my body fat measurement and I did see a loss in weight - about 6 pounds. With more vigorous exercise, I could have lost even more.

I did mention the apple, and it's a part of the range of fruits and veggies that burn more calories than they leave, but I was flabbergasted when I recently found out that Professor Michael Zemel of the University of Tennessee Nutrition and Medicine has stated that dairy can nearly double your weight loss when compared to a diet poor in calcium. Turns out the calcium breaks down fat cells.

High carb diets tend to cause fat to be retained in the body. Some recent studies have shown it's the time of day you eat the carbs that is critical as well. For example women who had high carb breakfasts lost more weight than those with little to no carbs. Still, don't eat late and do eat often. That's a rule to live by to lose fat.

Fat burning foods are lemons, eggplant, turnips, blackberries, mushrooms, spinach, grapefruit, pumpkin, broccoli, oranges, limes, pineapple, beans, carrots, cherries, fava beans, walnuts, and dried fruits. You can toss in some cheese there, thanks to Professor Zemel and have quite a tasty meal as you burn the calories with a smile.
