Surgeons are special kinds of doctors who dedicated themselves and all their medical knowledge to the treatment, examination and cutting open of patients in order to make them better. They are usually brought in for technical cases or when other methods have been exhausted.
Why do people need surgeons? There are illnesses and disorders humans acquire, where most of these are caused by some physical alterations in the body. Physical alterations that bring harm and danger to human life can't be easily healed by just taking medicines. This is where surgeons come in. Surgeons get to work by opening the body and making the necessary treatments.

The duty of a surgeon is to cut open your body to perform operations that remove unnecessary, harmful and foreign objects from your body that could jeopardize your health or well being. If they don't remove something from your body, they may be cutting you open to install something beneficial for your health.
For example, a surgeon may remove your kidneys if they are close to failing or they can no longer function to serve you. He or she can replace it with another pair of healthy kidneys to maintain or improve your condition.
Surgeons use a selection of instruments for cutting or holding body parts. These instruments may appear to be the same or similar to that of the scissors but each instrument is made for specific use.

Hands are some of the most important instruments in a surgeon's arsenal aside from brains and eyes. Stability and firmness are keys to a surgeon's success because they determine the precision of an operation, where there is no room for clumsy errors.
