Two Quick Steps to Lose Your Cellulite Forever

Jun 26, 2008
Almost 95% women suffer from cellulite. It forms on the butt and thigh areas and turns nice smooth skin into something that resembles cottage cheese. Many people feel resigned to live with it and that their only resource is to cover it with slacks and long skirts. Cheer up! It is possible to decrease and dispose of cellulite for ever. Let's find how!

What Exactly is Cellulite and Where Does it Come From?

Septae is a mesh of connective tissue found underneath the skin. There is a layer of fat under the septae. When we have fat that protrudes through the septae net cellulite is formed, taking on the look of ripples on the skin. Imagine a fishnet stretched over gelatin. The gelatin will poke through the hole in the net as the net is tightened. Septae and fat form ripples underneath the skin in that very way.

The holes in the Septae net tend to be larger in older women and their skin is thinner, causing their cellulite problem to be more noticeable.

Exercise seldom affects cellulite. In order to obtain a smoother look you must concentrate on the skin and fat cells.

Two Steps to Overcome Cellulite

Forget liposuction and shun all kinds of surgery. Research shows that one of the best ways to assuage cellulite is to massage the area affected by it. It's true; something so simple and enjoyable can have a wonderful effect.

You can also soothe the cellulite afflicted area by simply cooling it. Why not start each day by getting the best of?

Do this:

Complete your daily shower by pouring lots of cold water over the cellulite distressing area of the body.

Then cover your hands with baby oil and rub it into the area. You must keep this up for at least ten minutes.

The result shall be evident within a couple of weeks.

Why is this effective? Keep in mind that cellulite is fat cells that are forced toward the top, into small groups. These lumps can be pushed back under the septae using cold and massage.

Smooth Skin is Healthy Skin

Saggy skin highlights the effect of cellulite on your skin, so you should try your best to avert the loss of collagen and elasticity.

It is vital to use a good moisturizer after you take a shower to avoid a loss of elasticity in the skin. Collagen is found in some of the finest moisturizers available. This allows you to keep your skin firm and add collagen.

The use of a good firming lotion such as Jergens Firming Daily Moisturizer will help with any sagging skin you may already have. Many of these firming moisturizers are clinically proven to help with the tightening of skin. Quite often you will notice cellulite disappearing as your skin tightens.

Find some extra time to cool, massage, moisturize and tighten your skin so that you may loose the cellulite. Now what's going to stop you from wearing those tiny skirts and shorts!
