Lose That Cellulite Today New Secret Revealed

Jun 26, 2008
95% of women deal with the problem of cellulite. Beautiful skin is turned into cottage cheese as it collects on thighs and butts. The majority of people think that there is nothing they can do except hide it beneath long skirts and pants. Have patience. There are many techniques to liberate yourself form cellulite. Here is the way!

What is Cellulite?

Cellulite is the result of fat poking through a net of connective tissue known as septae that lies beneath the skin. Compare it to gelatin and a fishnet. When the net is tightened, the gelatin will burst out through the holes of the net. It is in this manner the septae and fats create ripples beneath your skin.

With age, the septae's net enlarges while the skin thins which makes the bulges of fat larger and more noticeable, so cellulite is even more of a problem for older women.

Most of the time, cellulite cannot be reduced or eliminated with exercise.

To get a smoother look you have to target the skin and fat cells.

Two Steps to Beating Cellulite

Don't even consider liposuction. According to studies, massage is one of the most effective ways to rid yourself of cellulite. Such a very simple activity could have astonishing effects.

It has been proven that cooling the area has an incredible smoothing effect on cellulite. Try using both each morning.

Try ending your showers with a blast of cold tap water on your cellulite.

Then cover your hands in baby oil and gently massage it the affected areas. Do this for about ten minutes.

In as little as two weeks you should begin to see results.

How does this works? Remember that cellulite is composed of small bunches of fat cells pushing through the septae. These lumps can be smoothed out by using cold and massage, forcing them back down.

Healthy Skin is Smooth Skin

Healthy skin is naturally smooth but as it ages, it loses a lot of collagen and reduces its elasticity causing it to sag. Try and stop collagen and elasticity loss as much as possible so that the cellulite does not look worse.

It is crucial to use a good moisturizer after your showers so that you prevent loss of elasticity. Collagen is included in one of the best moisturizers. This will allow you to both add collagen to your skin and, at the same time, keep the skin firm.

If you already have a problem with sagging, try using a firming lotion like the Jergens Firming Daily Moisturizer. Clinical tests have shown that many of these firming moisturizers can help tighten the skin. The cellulite will seem to lessen as your skin tightens.

To rid yourself of cellulite, you must cool, massage, moisturize and firm your skin. Now you don't have any reason not to wear those skimpy shorts and skirts!

Good Luck and to your success on your cellulite and weight loss quest.
