Simple Plan to Burn Body Fat Quickly

Jun 28, 2008
No matter how I did it, even watching Billy Blanks on the DVD's that we got, I could not do a normal sit-up without some pain to my back. I wanted to get my tummy in better shape and even though I might not have a six pack, I did need to burn body fat in that area. We even have an ab chair where you can hold a strap and do easier sit-ups, still not much progress there. I needed a solution.

Doesn't it seem that everyone has some sort of secret that they can't share with you about how they look so good and keep the weight off? I asked everywhere I could - at the gym, online, friends and family, and everyone seemed bent on the age-old sit-up where you lay on your back and lift. And not to totally knock it, because it works - it just was a hard way for me to get to my goal. But then I found an answer.

For you, it may not be the belly. Maybe you have fat around your hips, your arms, your face. I know many have a good half inch of fat on their backs. This is all important to get off the body so the body doesn't have to continually feed that. Once the body is in shape, it can repair itself more quickly and you are in health.

Food plays such a big part and if you want to turn me off at this point, you can - but it does mean a lot in any diet to burn fat. The reason is because there are actually foods that burn more fat than they put on the body. It's true - you can find these fat burning foods and work them into your diet slowly. As you do, they will be more enjoyable and you will eat this way long term.

The next thing that works was to make our tummies think that we needed muscle and need to burn the fat away quickly. That sounds like some magic wish, but there is a way to do this. What I found was a strategy called static contraction which works with your muscles but only one contraction at a time. So instead of doing 25 sit ups, you do one - but you hold that one for 15 seconds or longer and then you're done.

The body reacts to this quickly thinking that it needs to provide more muscle and burn body fat quickly. With more repetitions, each time you exercise, your body will sense that it needs to build up in that area. Now if the belly isn't your problem, you can work on your back or thighs, or whatever area, simply by eating right and hold those muscles in that area for one contraction.

When you use those two techniques and your great food choices, you'll burn fat quickly. It's just a natural function of your body that the fat will be burned off first and the muscle will build later. Watch what you eat in addition to your fat burning foods. Don't make the process more complicated by eating junk or loading up on any one food. Eating living things, like vegetables, and less processed foods - well, you know that helps a lot.

And get yourself into a plan that will set you up for success. My recommendation is a program you can find over the Internet that will give you options for your lifestyle. There are some great programs with good support systems that will help you get to where you want to be and you can track your progress online. Use the support systems for any problems you may have and let them know about your daily challenges.
