Watch What You Eat to Stay Fit

Jul 10, 2008
Everyone wants to stay fit and for that to happen you need two things exercise and good eating. Good and healthy eating is easy and requires enormous amount of patience. Every now and then you will feel the carving for eating the unhealthy and junk food. These foods no doubt are more tasty and enjoyable than the regular healthy foods.

The junk foods are called so because they have all the unhealthy things heaped up on them while preparing. Hamburgers, French fries and all sorts of cheese are examples of unhealthy food. You can eat them every now and then in moderate quantity to satiate your craving for them. But remember the key is unhealthy foods and controlling your craving.

That leads us to the fact of craving which is what we need to control. We all know what unhealthy food is but the craving is what makes it tough for us to ignore those foods.
I have a few tips which can at least help you curb your craving and let you walk away from these foods and start eating healthy foods.

While having your lunch or dinner try to include some raw fruits or vegetables in it .With those extra fruits and salads you stomach will fill up and you will not feel that hunger for more foods which will result in less calories going into your body. We all know that if you are full to the brim howsoever good food is presented to you will never feel that rush inside you to eat anything at all including unhealthy food.

The next thing is about your routine. Make sure that you eat breakfast daily. You have gone without eating the whole night so it is time to fill up your empty stomach. If you skip breakfast what happens that your body will feel the need for breakfast and you will always have that hunger which will lead you to extra and unnecessary eating. The other which helps is that since you have had breakfast in the morning it will give you that whole day to burn those calories.

You should never feel hungry at any time. So make sure that you have something with you as a snack and try to eat something every four hours. Have something like the bag of fat free chips or a snack bar. But make sure to eat in moderate quantities. Remember overstocking is not needed .Always try to eat only half or three fourths of the bag that way you will limit your intake and you would have curbed your hunger also.

Eat healthy and use these small tips to make sure that you are eating healthy and not gorging huge amounts of junk foods.
