The individuals in your downline might be gung-ho, diligent workers, but the might not be as creative when it comes to stirring up sales and business. This is also key in learning and observing what your people's strengths and weaknesses are. You can then take the time to use the good things to their advantage and take the bad things and overcome them and turn them into strengths.

Third, you might look into changing your target market. The market in which you are currently targeting may be too saturated and your profit margins begin to decline. You should take some time to consider the demographics of your current market and see if their needs fit what you are trying to sell. You should take a look at your sector and see if there are any untapped areas that you can leverage. All of these things will help you stir up new business.

Fourth, you could offer incentives to motivate individuals to get out and sell. If you have a large number of people in your downline, this works especially well. If sales are struggling, is it because you are getting lazy and not doing much to motivate your team to work harder?

Lastly, you should learn to leverage the power of the internet and branch out online. Some people think that because multilevel marketing was founded on in-person sessions, that is the only way you can do it today. There are no rules that prevent you from using the internet as a way to recruit new individuals to join your downline.

If you are finding that none of these things are working for you, you might need to take a look at the bigger picture. Is what you are selling no longer needed in the market? There are lots of factors that come into play in MLM. As long as you work hard and keep your downline full of hungry, self driven individuals, you will be in good shape.
