Noteblocks for the Home and Office Can Help Brand Your Business

Jul 15, 2008
If you look around on any desk, in any office, in any country of the world, somewhere notepads and noteblocks are always there. Even in our digital age where a lot of information is electronic, when taking a note or making a reminder for themselves, people still automatically reach for notepaper and a pen, whether that notepaper is in notepads or noteblocks.

You can use this fact to promote your business. Since almost every office is furnished with a noteblock, it's only reasonable to assume that every office person would love a noteblock.

Noteblocks come in many different shapes and sizes, they can be large or small and they can be square, circular or even twisted in their design. These noteblocks are convenient for jotting down telephone messages or for making a note for the shopping list. This makes noteblocks just as useful in the home as they are in the office. Some noteblocks can even be designed to come with a hole for you to store your pen in the stack of paper, so that noteblocks and pens are both at hand when you need them.

A very good way for a company to advertize itself is to commission a stack of customized noteblocks with their company details together with their logo and mission statements printed on them. Although many promotional gifts get thrown away, promotional items such as pens and noteblocks are often kept as they are useful and they appeal to everyone. The thought of having their company name on noteblocks on hundreds of desks and in hundreds of homes is naturally very appealing for many companies.

A quick search on the internet will bring up hundreds of stationary companies selling a wide range of notepads and noteblocks for home and office use. As well as the large commercial companies, many smaller companies and individuals also design noteblocks.

Noteblocks created on a smaller scale by individual designers can make a lovely gift for birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations. You can often buy stationary sets from the same designer so you can have a matching range of writing paper, envelopes, notepads and noteblocks for example - and you can always keep them for yourself if you don't want to give them away!

If you were looking for a really personalized gift then you could always customize your own set of stationary. You could buy a plain set of notepaper, envelopes and noteblocks, for example, and then create a theme that you put onto each item. You can buy stamp and ink sets quite easily and cheaply that have letters, numbers and symbols on them. Once you've decided on your design you can then customize your stationary set to your own requirements.

Another tip in the home and office is to create your own noteblocks out of paper that would otherwise be thrown away. Collect up paper, which still has one blank side on it and put into a pile. Cut the sheets to regular sizes and then stack one on top of the other. Using a hole punch, punch a hole in one corner in the same place on each sheet and thread through a piece of string and tie in a knot. This will keep your stack of paper together and now you have your own recycled noteblocks of paper to use.
