Unravel Your Strings of Success

Jul 16, 2008
If you have ever had a problem that you just couldn?t figure out about your online endeavors, there is a method that may your answer. Unraveling the strings of success is that method. Close your eyes and watch the strings as you learn the theory behind this method.

1. You have to know what it is that you want. Is it more members, a brand new site, or not as many sales tickets? For the sake of the internet, let us say that you want increased sales.

2. Using the expansive sales as the target you have set your sights on, ask the following question. "How will I accomplish getting more sales?" Your answer should be having a good system for following up with clients, getting noticed to attract more customers, and improved sales conversions.

3. Next take one of those topics and start unraveling it. "If I want more traffic, what do I need?" More links to my site, more affiliate referrals, more clicks from my ads.

4. Using the subjects that you are acquainted with, unravel some more. "What should I do to add more links to my site?" A writer who can put out several more blogs, or more articles with links, or inundate it with directory links.

5. Now take one of those topics and keep repeating the process of unraveling it. "If I need more article links, what do I need?" Write more articles, hire others to write more, distribute them to a broader audience. Your answers can be broad or precise. The idea is to identify the factors that are stopping you.

The repetition is obvious. Normally using a piece of paper, I can continue to put down the links from one question to the next - causing the string to become more lengthy as it is unraveled. Ultimately you will get to the place that your answer will be that you require nothing but action. That is the beginning.

This unraveling system is easy and more often than not shows you where there is a glitch in your thought process or the strategy that you are using for your profession. For instance, the part of your profession that you do not spend enough time on will be the longer strings. The shorter ones will probably give you the quickest means to an end.

If the same item shows up in more than one string, it may mean you have a crossover in your processes. It may be a source of confusion for you and your staff. Or it may be a way to complete a single item and shorten two strings.

When using this unraveling process on your business, you are able to move to the Action phase of your planning sooner. Plus you'll have a visual map of how your business works.
