Exposed: The Dangers of Modern Skin Care

Jul 18, 2008
There is a failure to completely recognize the dangers involved with modern skin care. There are items that are so toxic landfills will not allow disposal yet millions put them on their skin daily. The ingredients of skin care, where it originates or if the complete ingredients are put onto the labelling is not in any way regulated by the government.

It is extremely vital to look for plant based completely natural and organically certified products because of this. These organic food products are the same ones that have passed either local or federal regulations. So if you would not eat it why are you applying it directly to the largest organ in the body? Even if they are ingested, organic skin care products have to be guaranteed for safety.

Think about what you are putting onto your skin

There is a lot of talk about organic foods and clothing at the moment throughout the media and it's on everyone's lips. Companies everywhere are trying to capitalize on the organic trend. Organic food sections are now found in grocery stores across the country. There are even a few organic skin care products such as soap and toothpaste offered by some.

Chain stores are not where you should attempt to get products claiming to be natural. They are not necessarily natural if they contain things such as fruit extracts. It is like calling toxic waste healthy just because you added a carrot and said it was stew. Are you going to eat that? Are you going to give it to a baby? Are you going to do your laundry in it? What about animals? Death dealing toxins are put on the skin daily by unknowing millions.

Dangers of Modern Skin Care in Truth

Other than the way a product smells or how good the package looks people pay virtually little to no attention to what goes on the skin. These noxious chemicals contribute to cancer, brain damage and other devastating health issues. Such chemicals even cause premature aging, the loss of hair, impotency and skin disorders without knowing it every day.

Gasoline by-products, fish scales, road kill, parts from dead animals, beetles and a ton of other toxic chemicals are being put on the skin unbeknownst to consumers. Alcohol, Formaldehyde, Padimate-O, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Petrolatum, Propane, Animal Fat (Tallow) and many others are also death and cancer causing as well as skin drying and killing ingredients.

The fact that make-up companies are able to put these in their products without listing them on the label is the part that scares people the most.

Organic is the solution

By simply using certified organic products on their skin, people can reverse damage. They can feed their skin. They can reduce the amount of environmental toxins going into their body just by replacing their skin care products with organic skin care. Imagine being able to reverse the damage caused by those highly toxic chemicals. Imagine not burning as fast in the sun simply because your skin care products were based on petroleum (gasoline). Imagine your skin being able to breath. Imagine less birth defects and other reproductive health issues.

For many years the skin was not thought of as an organ. Now it is know that it is one of the largest organs of the body. It regulates temperature, regulates moisture content and protects us from disease. Additionally, it breathes, it eliminates toxins and wastes from the body, and it absorbs nutrients and information from its surroundings. It is a semi-permeable covering that keeps us healthy.

You will feed the skin by using organically certified skin care products that do not contain toxins. Feeding the skin with organic products will reverse the growth of cancer cells, renew the skin's elasticity, stop aging and get rid of the dead weight of chemical skin care products so the skin can breathe again.
