Three Things NOT To Do For Fast Acne Relief

Jul 22, 2008
Have you ever fought acne and thought that you're just about to win when all of a sudden your face breaks out again ruining your entire complexion?

I can't tell you how many years I've spent fighting acne and it was always an uphill battle, that is until I came up with my easy 3 part process for fast and easy acne relief!

There really are only three important aspects of skin care to focus on to achieve clear beautiful skin -- and they are not magic secrets, just three sensible steps.

1 - Avoid Dehydration!

Your body is mostly water. Water is needed by every organ in the body, especially your organs like your kidneys which are responsible for flushing out the toxins from your body. Most of acne is caused by toxins. Drinking plenty of water will flush the toxins out and help clear your skin right up!

2 - Don't Buy Into The "Magical" Acne Treatments

Your skin is different from the person next to you, so to think that the same thing will work for everyone is crazy. It's because of this that it can be really scary to stand in a drug store and try to pick your acne treatment choice, but really it does not have to be that hard!

Here are a few tips. If you have blackheads and whiteheads then what you need is something to help clear out your pores. If you have big red pimples then you need a product that can kill the bacteria.

Carefully examine your skin and determine where you fit then read the product labels to see which one does what. There you go! That's really all you need to know, the rest, most are all the same. But make sure you don't use too many products, you'll just irritate your skin more and that will not help anyone.

3 - Don't Forget About The Pimples You Already Have!

Unfortunately, even the best of skin care regimens will still allow a few pesky pimples through. The important thing to remember when a pimple appears is that you can get rid of it quickly if you treat it properly!

If you want to drain the pimple, that is ok only in certain circumstances. If the pimple seems deep, then DON'T drain it, you will create permanent scars.

If you decide to drain, make sure to wash and dry the area and then immediately apply the proper cream to avoid it from spreading or coming back.

A final option is to use a cream that will help heal what is left of the pimple to prevent scarring. Neosporin works well for this, but use it sparingly as it is thick and oily and may clog pores!
