Jul 23, 2008
"What are some exercises to jump higher?"

If hearing that question would entitle me to a dollar, I will be filthy rich by now. Teens, especially the guys who are daydreaming about becoming the school's basketball superstar, ask that question all the time.

Well, I have to admit - I'm one of themthe high school newcomers who want the ladies to cheer as they show off their impressive vertical jump.

Loud and clear, I still see my freshman days at the back of my head. These are the days when my avid digging for tips on how to jump higher and exercises to jump higher began. If you're thinking this was piece of cake, it is NOT!

If you're thinking about the gym as the place to go, I'm sorry. That won't cut it especially for people who're almost drowning on school and office work.

Ask yourself this question - would you happily trade a day at the gym for a day's salary or get a flunking grade for a gym's visit?

I don't know about you BUT I won't.

That's precisely the reason why methods on how to jump higher that can be done in the comfort of your homes are on top of the list. I knew this right from the start, and that's precisely the reason why I collected some simple routines and exercises to jump higher.

It's about time you add a couple of more inches to your vertical jump.

Exercises To Jump Higher Tip 1:

The knees and leg area take the limelight when it comes to increasing your vertical jump.

When properly trained, the knees and legs will work like a powerful springgiving you the power you need to fly. Let's get started - first step is to stand straight and stillnext, bend your knees SLOWLY while your back stays vertical.

Do this as slow and for as many reps as you can.

How To Jump Higher Tip 2:

Want a cheap BUT surefire way to increase your vertical jump?

Here's a very simple option - go for jump rope exercises.

It's a breeze to do and you can 'waste' time with it while watching that much-awaited movie in DVD, exchange niceties with friends, etc.

Exercises To Jump Higher Tip 3:

Start eating the right kind of foods.

This may NOT sound like an exercise to you, BUT many have found it to be HARDER than a back-breaking physical drill.

Exercises to jump higher won't be sufficient; they need the right type of meals to work with them synergistically. By going for meals that are heavy in protein, fiber, and calcium, you'll have the beefed-up muscles and strong bones you need to jump like MJ.
