Determining The Best Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream

Jul 23, 2008
The best Anti-wrinkle eye cream should be one that provides maximum results at a reasonable price. Just because a product is more expensive does not guarantee that it will be any better than a no-brand product. If it is a no-brand product, it doesn't mean it will be ineffective either. The best one for you would be the one that works best for you.

The number of skin care products available is overwhelming. The choice so you think is relatively simple. It's a matter of what is contained in the product that matters. The concentration of the product is important as well and the concentrations should be high to get the greatest benefits from it. It is imperative that you educate yourself on skin care, skin care products, and its (their) contents.

There is so much advertising, marketing plans, and distribution of the products that manufacturers literally pour millions of dollars into it including celebrity endorsements.

This time and money can take away from the proper research to be sure the product is safe and that it works effectively.

Sadly in todays world, things have to be on the shelves "yesterday" What is upsetting is that a lot of health and skin care companies claim to want to help the general public, but the bottom-line is most companies are more interested in profits and keeping the stock flowing. It takes a special company that genuinely cares about their products and customers and these have become rare in todays market.

I was shocked to learn that some manufacturers' will go so far as to put just enough of the good ingredients in their products just so it can be legally listed on the label. On top of that, they try to make the list of ingredients sound good in order to get us to buy it. I was also alarmed when I learned that some of the ingredients can actually be harmful and many people still use them!

Let's take a look at the harmful ingredients so that you also can read product labels and make an informed choice.

Mineral oil covers the skin and does not allow the skin to "breathe" or to get rid of toxins. The skin becomes dependent on the mineral oil with long term use. Also, with long term use - skin irritations and premature signs of aging can occur.

Mineral oil may appear under names such as liquid paraffin, paraffin wax, and petrolatum. Manufacturers' who use it like it because its cheap, so therefore they make much higher profits.

What harm can pretty smelling anti-wrinkle eye cream do?

Some fragrances are made with ingredients that are known to be toxic and/or cancer causing. A spritz of perfume, cologne, or body spray will make you smell nice.

Parabens also named methyl, propyl, butyl, and ethyl parabens may be added to even the best anti-wrinkle eye cream and other products. They are used as a preservative to prolong the shelf life of the product. Some studies show a link to causing cancer and interfering with your endocrine system are related to such ingredients. They may also cause rashes and other skin irritations.

Dioxane is synthetically derived from coconut. It is easily absorbed by the skin and usually in concentrations 1,4 dioxane. In California, it is well-known that dioxane may lead to cancer. To think we actually put this stuff on our skin is pretty worrying indeed!

Alcohols including ethanol, ethyl alcohol, methanol, benzyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, and SD alcohol. Alcohols are drying to the skin. Alcohols under whatever name, strips away the natural acid mantle of the skin. This leaves you more susceptible to bacteria, viruses, and moulds.

You should look for the following ingredients in the best anti-wrinkle eye creams. Together, these three ingredients make up the strongest available skin care compound. They should be present in high concentrations, which may be indicated by percentages.

Lets go with new cutting edge substance called Cynergy TK first. In studies, it is proven that it supports your bodys ability to re-grow both collagen and elastin. You will get firmer skin and you will also get flexible skin which means your skin can return to its original position after being stretched. You will have fewer lines and wrinkles and your skin will look smoother.

An exotic kelp that is native to the Japanese Sea called Phytessence Wakame prevents the destructive enzyme Hyaluronidase. This enzyme seeks to destroy the natural hyaluronic acid. Without hyaluronic acid, the collagen and elastin fibers will begin to breakdown because this acids act like a glue keeping them together. Hyaluronan aids in tissue repair and is a major element of the skin.

There is an enzyme called Coenzyme Q10 that comes in different forms. As it is it cannot penetrate the skin and would provide no benefit, a different form can. There is a nano-emulsified form called Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10 that is easily absorbed by the skin going 7 layers deep. It is also a very powerful antioxidant that will destroy free radicals in your skin before any damage occurs.

We have looked at the good and the bad ingredients of skin care products including the best anti-wrinkle eye cream. Hopefully, you are now armed with information to make safe choices of products.
