101 Weight Loss Tips: Part 1

Two things: You don't need to jump on any current diet craze and you don't need to start exercising for hours each day. Just ask your physician. Any physician will tell you that it's not about dieting, it's about reshaping your lifestyle.

To start losing weight,change the habits that you have been doing.Eat but eat differently.Don't sit when you can stand or move around.These are little things,but they can make the difference of helping you lose the extra pounds around your waistline.

If you are determined to lose weight,use good oil,like olive oil and good sauces to cook your vegetables or better still steam or microwave it.Eating a rainbow means eating the different colors of vegetables and fruits or in other words eating different varieties.Five small meals a day is better than three large meals.

Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids,nuts, salmon and other fatty fish are the best choice if you are concern about your health and weight.Choose low-and non-fat dairy products such as skim milk, low fat cheeses and the leanest cuts of meat and skinless poultry.Consuming more food will lead to more diseases,therefore 4-6 meals a day consists of lean meats,(avoiding too much pork),eating more fruits and vegetables and whole-grain starches.Your plate should have 1/4 is lean meat,1/4 is starch,1/2 is fruit and vegetable fruit and vegetables and small good fat.

Get used eating more salads and uncooked vegetables and fruits.Canned foods contain large amount of sugar and salt and are not good for health.It is advisable to eat lots of fruit and vegetables that have low glycemic index.

Another good tip is to take advantage of the food that is popular during the summer months. Everyone wants to hold barbecues and there is no reason why you should be any different, but make sure to add salads to your diet. Eat plenty of raw fruits and vegetables, steamed brown rice and grilled fish or chicken. Keep things simple and limit condiments and dressings that add unnecessary calories. Don?t eat in front of the TV or computer; instead sit down with friends or family and enjoy the meal as well as the company.
