Law of Attraction: Cycle of Observation

Jul 29, 2008
What many people don't understand is the process of manifestation and attraction is always in motion. To look at undesirable results and say, "this stuff doesn't work" illustrates a lack of reason.

The results you get, whether positive or negative, are what you have helped to manifest. Results that you aren't pleased with do not disprove the law of attraction; however much people might wish this were the case.

One key concept to better understanding manifestation and to being able to use it more proactively is the cycle of observation. By virtue of this cycle, you are co-creating your world based on what you passively observe and acknowledge.

This means even without focused intention and diligent effort we continue to build our reality on a moment-by-moment basis. This idea can be both startling and empowering, depending on how you choose to perceive it.

For instance, when you open your wallet and don't see any money inside, your mind observes this reality and creates the passive vibration that reflects it. By simply noticing that you don't have money in your wallet you can reinforce the subconscious belief that there isn't enough cash flow to go around, or that you never have as much money as you want.

In any one instant we can only vibrate in one of two frequencies. We call these frequencies positive and negative.

On a higher level the ideas of good and bad probably don't even exist. But in our human experience positive vibrations tend to result in good events and circumstances, while negative vibrations bring about unpleasant realities.

And much of the time our vibration is determined by passive observation. So for many people it is possible that reality gets manifested based not on focused intent, but on casual observations that occur in each moment.

This is why so many people complain about a life they claim not to want and insist that manifestation is not working for them. In fact most people seem to be stuck in this mode by default.

The good news is you can do a few very simple things to make the cycle of observation work for you. Even without grand visualizations and affirmations, you can begin to attract and manifest what you want simply by changing the small details you observe.

For the empty wallet scenario, the fix is simple. Break a twenty dollar bill into a couple of fives and ten ones and keep this in your wallet at all times.

Now every time you look in your wallet you see cash. Take the money out from time to time and run your fingers over it; even take a second to inhale that lovely money aroma. It doesn't matter that it's not a lot of money, the fact is there are multiple bills in your wallet each time you open it!

You could also write yourself a check for a large sum of money and keep that in your wallet. This way you see not only cash but also a note of large sums in your bank account.

This technique works with any observation, and is not limited to financial matters. For example you might fix a scale so it always points to your ideal weight and then stand on it for a few seconds each morning.

This exercise creates a positive cycle of observation. Not only will it reduce your stress tremendously, it will cause your unconscious mind to get to work finding ways to reinforce what you are seeing.

Try this exercise in one or more areas of your own life. Chances are very good you'll soon be able to correct areas that have been problematic for some time, all with very little work and no focused visualization.
