The Hoodia Dosage For Maximum Effectiveness and Safety

One of the most effective appetite suppressing products out there are hoodia diet pills, however, many dieters are confused about the recommended safe dosage. It's a good thing to ask though, seeing as hoodia pills are not regulated and can be easily bought without a prescription, which therefore leaves dieters trying to work out the right dosage amount on their own.

It can be extremely hard to work out what dose you should be taking, especially if you visit any websites or read anyone's experiences with hoodia. You are likely to find that some people say a dose of 1,000mg is enough to stop hunger, while others say it took nearly twice that amount to suppress their appetite.

Dieting specialist estimate that it can take up to 3,000mg of hoodia to be taken per day in order to suppress hunger. In fact in a recent report one doctor even stated that the majority of his patients needed between 2,250mg to 3,000mg of hoodia per day before they experienced the most effective weight loss. However, it's important to realise that in order to get the very best results you should be leading a healthy lifestyle which involves regular exercise too.

The most effective hoodia dosage will vary from one person to another. What works for one person may not work for you. You may find that 1,500mg is all it takes, while another person may require 3,000mg or more. Diet pills that contain 100% authentic hoodia gordonii have been shown to be safe with virtually no side effects so "experimenting" with the dosage within reason is probably safe. However, if you have any concerns you should consult your doctor.

Even though diet pills which contain 100% hoodia gordonii are safe, there are some people who should consult their doctor before taking it, or before taking any diet supplements for that matter. These people are women who are pregnant or nursing, anyone taking any kind of medication, children under 18 years of age, and anyone with an existing health condition.

The easiest way to find the correct hoodia dosage for you is to follow the instructions printed on the product label. Reputable companies will always suggest a steady dose of between 800-1,500mg of hoodia, which is about 1 or 2 capsules per day for the first 7 days or so. They will usually then recommend that you slowly increase your dosage until you reach the maximum daily amount, which is typically 4,500mg per day, so that you can find the amount that works best for you.

When you are taking hoodia gordonii diet pills, they may also decrease your thirst along with your appetite. You should always drink plenty of water when you are supplementing with them. That is why the product labels always say to drink 8-10 ounces of water when you take your capsules. People who are dieting should be drinking at least eight glasses of water a day anyway!

One final thing to bear in mind is that not everyone can get an effective result from hoodia gordonii. Some people simply do not respond no matter how many capsules of hoodia they take each day. So if you find yourself taking the upper dosage, but you are still not noticing much difference in your appetite then hoodia probably isn't going to work for you, no matter how much you take.
