Exercise Tips for Rapid Weight Loss!

Weight loss is easier if there isn't a time factor involved, but if you're under a time constraint to slim down then you could benefit from these exercise tips for rapid weight loss. There's really no way to avoid it. To lose even one pound in a week, you must reduce your calories by 3500! That would be 500 fewer calories a day that you must consume.

Typically, people looking for rapid weight loss won't be pleased with a drop of one pound in a week. To achieve more than that, though, you'd have to reduce your caloric intake much more drastically. Seems easy enough, right? Wrong! When you significantly cut your calorie consumption, you cause your metabolism to slow down and become sluggish. This action further inhibits weight loss.

There is a better way to achieve your goal, however, and that would be to incorporate these exercise tips into your schedule. For rapid weight loss, consume 500 fewer calories each day and burn an additional 500 calories each day through exercise! Now you have guaranteed yourself a drop of two pounds each week. It's really just a simple math problem!

One important exercise tip to keep in mind is that your body is an efficient fuel-burning machine. Everything you do from sitting in front of the television to cutting your grass burns calories. So to increase the number of calories you burn each day, you don't have to exercise for hours. Instead, just look for ways to be more active.

There are many ways for you to burn more calories throughout your day. One of the easiest exercise tips is to park your car further away from you destination. Make frequent trips up and down the stairs, avoiding elevators and escalators. Take your dog for longer walks. Walk with the family after dinner. Pick weeds after work, rake the leaves in your yard, or wash your car. Hide your remote control and get up to change the television channel. Do push ups and sit-ups during the television commercials.

When rapid weight loss occurs, one hidden danger is the loss of lean muscle mass. Working out each day can help resolve this problem. By adding a workout to your day, you help ensure that your body loses fat instead of lean muscle mass.

Think of cardio workouts and strength training that would be easy to fit into your schedule. Running, power walking, biking, swimming, and jumping rope are all excellent cardio workouts, which burn major calories.

To get the most out of your workout, it is necessary to work out with intensity. Think of sweating as your friend! Make huffing and puffing your goal. Achieving these two things will help ensure that you don't have loose skin hanging around once you reach your goal.

Take advantage of these exercise tips if rapid weight loss is what you hope to achieve. Become more active generally and add an intense workout to your schedule each day. You'll experience incredible health benefits and find that you have more stamina and experience less stress.
