How To Get A Date

Aug 3, 2008
Getting a date is somewhat one of the greatest problems that young adults will face. More often than not they will experience low moments, frustrations, discouragement and depression over a single cause which is dating. Some young adults would feel depressed because they find that no one would seem like to go out with them or just simply that they can't find anyone to date or because that someone they have loved for so long remained as they always are and have not returned their affections.

This article will not give you 100% guarantee that you will really get a date however when you do follow the suggestions then you will get the date of your dream provided you got the will and determination to wait.

Whether you are male or female, choose someone who is at around about similar stage in dating as you are. You would be out of someone's league if you are rooting for someone who is far more advanced in dating than you are. This should not be any hard at all because you will just need to find someone who has similar experience as you are a beginner and a neophyte in the world of dating. This will give you the exact benefits of less pain and tragic paths later on because if you are of the same league along the path of dating, you can grow and mature together.

Most successful relationships begin with friendship. So before you even consider dating someone, you have to learn the basics of friendship first. And it is all about what it means to be a friend, your treatment towards your friends, how to help a friend and also in how to meet their needs. If you have mastered the art of friendship, you will now be ready to accept or to go dating and maybe truly take that step with full confidence.

To begin with guys, most women would like to play the hard-to-get game. Most have their own sets of ideas about how dating should be and you need to prepare for that. Sometimes it is rather preferred that you should not move in advance without any sort of warning before hand. This will scare them out. Usually girls prefer that you give attention to them first like greet her, talk to her privately and have as friendly as you can before asking her out.

For girls you should not be too aggressive and too liberated with your dating ideas. This will set your guy off running and feel incapacitated. Most guys in today's modern era still prefer that they do the initiative and the asking and initial encounter. They are already afraid of girls in the first place because guys are putting huge risks on themselves when asking someone out. These risks would involve his total masculinity be put into the line and also the fear of rejection. Girls will have to remember that it is painful, totally painful, to be rejected and mostly guys are cowards to take these risks unless they have a reason to believe that everything will do just fine.

Though there are some subtle ways that girls can convey their message like to try catch his eye and smile at him. Your eyes can send messages a lot. However don't overdo this trick. Your guy will know. If he is interested, he will show you. If he is not, you will know. If somehow you are talking to each other, be attentive and pay attention to everything he says because more often than not, this will impress him. Sometimes you can make use of the help of a friend who will drop off tactful hints to him.

You can join clubs or organizations in which he also participates in. You can ask for help with homework or project that you are working on. You can plan a get-together open for all including couples and non-daters which he will be interested to attend to. Have a date with your female friends and invite other guys to join you however you need to keep the numbers odd to avoid having to pair up.

Whatever hint you decide to pursue, the most important thing is to begin every relationships with friendship. The reason is simple, friends understand themselves better, treat themselves better and grow together better than those who just date only for the purpose of dating.
