It is common for inhalers to have stimulants in them so if you have to keep using your inhaler these stimulants can keep you awake. Not a good recipe for health.

Some common allergens triggering reactions are pollens, dust mites, pet dander, mold, cockroaches (yuck), cigarette and cigar smoke (yuck again), difficult exercise, cold air, and sudden excitement. Parents can keep records when their child has an attack to prevent further exposure. It isn't that hard to keep records.
