Who Are You And What Are You Made Of

Aug 9, 2008
Who am I? What am I? What am I doing here? Where will I go after I leave here? Those are very intriguing questions. As far back as one looks in recorded history, mankind has been asking those very questions.

Human beings are a very complex miracle. When you think about what goes on in our physical body it is nothing short of one miracle after another. Think about thinking, how does that really work? Who is the thinker? Where do thoughts come from? For that matter, where do they go?

Think about the body's ability to heal itself. We've all been taught that the body can heal cuts and bruises and it can heal broken bones after they have been set. We have been taught that and accept it as fact.

However, many of us have limiting beliefs that tell us our body cannot heal certain diseases. Then there are some that would tell us that even these diseases can be healed. People have different beliefs and their realities are subsequently different as well.

If you Google the terms: healing, miracles or cures, you will find numerous testimonials where people claim to have cured themselves of so called incurable diseases. But how can that be? What are the implications?

Think about what we're made of. I am an engineer with many years of Chemistry and Physics classes under my belt. When I consider our body, I see cells, then start going deeper into the molecular level, and then the atomic level, and then the sub-atomic level, and then the newer, even smaller particle levels. If we took an electron microscope picture of these elements and laid it next to a picture of a galaxy we almost couldn't tell which was which. Some would argue that you couldn't tell the difference.

Our bodies appear solid, but the reality is there is so much space in our bodies that if you took out all the space, the remaining matter would fit on the head of a pin. So what are we really? Our bodies are composed of about 75% water, the brain is about 85% water, and the blood is at about 90% water. But somewhere in all this there is a life force, a divine spark, an intelligence. If there weren't, we would truly just be a meat suit.

So you may rightly ask: What does this have to do with the cost of tea in China? Well the reality is you and I are what we think we are. We are what we believe ourselves to be.

Remember the statement made by numerous wealthy - people it goes something like this: "If I lost it all- if I lost everything I possess, even all my money, I'd get it all back again in a very short time". Have you ever wondered what that really meant? They had an attitude, a belief, an unwavering knowing about who they were and they demonstrated that in their lives every single day.

What are you demonstrating in your life? Are you demonstrating health, prosperity and love, or sickness, poverty and loneliness?

If you haven't seen it yet, get the movie "The Secret" and you will learn that you attract to yourself exactly that which you believe. If you want to be healthy, think healthy thoughts, think love, tell yourself that you love yourself, tell yourself you are in perfect health. Remember, if you can heal a cut, you can heal anything.

Try it out for yourself - don't take my word for it. Remember you have 10, 20 or 50 plus years of beliefs and programming that may not be in alignment with a new belief or thought system, and it may be difficult for you to accept or change. But you can do it.

There are enough stories and testimonials out there about miracle healing, and even if some of them are fake, they can't all be. So if one human being can do it, we all can.

A very prominent mentor of mine has a beautiful quote he uses in business, but I think it fits in the health environment equally as well: "Success leaves Traces". Find out how these people did it, find out how miracles happen, and then make them happen in your life. The choice is yours. Remember - Expect a Miracle and Just Do It!
