Simple Approach To Getting Your Man Back

Aug 14, 2008
One of the first and foremost things you can do to both feel better about yourself and raise your chances at getting your ex boyfriend to come running back to you is to not allow yourself the luxury of falling apart over this. The first part of this tip concerns your appearance...don't just maintain it, pump it up! New clothes, new hair, new smile, new waist...whatever you think you could improve about yourself, do it! Turn yourself into an absolute knockout!

This strategy will keep your spirits high while, at the same time, attract attention from other guys, and possibly even your old beau. Being noticed and appreciated, perhaps even approached, will boost your ego and also signal that you are available. This may, in turn, prove that your old boyfriend's jealousy is too much for him to handle. On the other hand, you may realize that there are plenty of other available guys out there.

The one thing you must not do is sit around and feel sorry for yourself. Now is the time to use your social network, so go out with friends and have a good time. Thinking about what happened will only make you feel worse, so do things that will leave you with happy thoughts. Focus on the here and now.

When you're looking great and staying social, appearing to have a wonderful time, something clicks in your ex's mind if he sees you this way. He starts to see you in a different light, especially if you had the standard common "drag-out" period after the breakup. Seeing you pull yourself together, stand up and move on (even if it only looks that way, regardless of how you feel inside), he'll start to think he misjudged you when he dumped you. It's not always enough to make him come crawling back, but it usually gets you into his head.

Remember: Even though you may be doing this to try to get your boyfriend back, it's not always good to try to make up immediately. Depending on the circumstances, some feelings may have been hurt, and healing may take time. Stay patient, and try to stay away for about a month or so. This will give you time to think about what happened and sort out your feelings for each other. And absence does make the heart grow fonder.

Needless to say, all of this is easier said than done, particularly in the middle of the night when the agony and sadness of being alone creeps up on you. Remaining active and engaged will lessen the sense of isolation and sorrow. As you both have the chance to examine your feelings separately and perhaps to crave the other's company, you'll come to an awareness of your emotions. Don't avoid this period of detachment because your fear or despair gets the better of you. This will only add undue pressure to you both, probably succeeding in pushing your ex even further away.

Getting your boyfriend back is not impossible, and if that is your goal, there are some things you can do to help make it happen. But it's not the most important thing. What you need to focus on is staying positive and feeling good about yourself. Hopefully this article will help you with this. If you liked it and want to read more, check out the site below.
