How To Adapt The Right Personalized Wedding Favors
Many couples opt to give personalized wedding favors to their guests because they are a good idea and will often include the names of the couple as well as the wedding date. Not only will they feel a little bit special but your wedding guests will go away with a personal reminder of the day and they will be able to recall it more easily even five years from now.
Many things happen over the years and often people lose touch but a personalized wedding favor will ensure that wherever the person is if they look at the favor they will remember. It is surprising how the memory works and even little details like the bride and grooms name plus the place and date they were married can bring the whole day back to the person who was given the personalized wedding favor.
Planning is the key issue here as unlike regular wedding favors, which can almost be left until the last minute to purchase, these require a little more effort and orders should be placed early. Sometimes it is quite possible to use a supplier who has in stock ready made favors that can be customized without to much hassle but at the same time it will be wise to put in your orders early because without doubt, he will be carrying out this self same service for many other weddings close to when yours is arranged. Due to the volume of the orders they received, it is advisable when dealing with type of wedding favor supplier, to order as soon as you have made your decision on the wording as you never know what delays you might be unfortunate enough to experience.
You do have the option of requesting a special order which will speed up the process but will obviously incur additional cost which could be up to three times as much as a normal order. When considering what information to place on your wedding favor, remember that this is entirely up to you and almost anything can be printed but at the very least you will want your names and the date of the wedding. Although names and details are the most usual pieces of information to have printed on your candy outers, pictures frames or coasters, other methods of personalization exist that can be just as effective.
Whilst edible wedding favors are very popular, they obviously don't have the long lasting effect of personalized favors but can still be very effective if you want to have your image printed on a cookie for example. The easiest way to do this is to supply the bakery with a digital photo of the two of you and let them print it onto the face of the cookie.
Once the image of the couple is printed on the cookie, there is no reason why the names and wedding details cannot be placed on there as well. If you want to give your guests an edible wedding favor but want them to keep something as well; have the outer wrapping or ribbon printed with details of the wedding instead. Although these ribbons can be bought in one long role with your details repeated, it means someone will have to cut it so why not save some time and have the ribbons cut to length.
