Dining Out and Food Shopping in Milton Keynes

Aug 26, 2008
Milton Keynes has a great reputation for its shopping but it's also unsurpassed for another great pastime, eating out. As well as shops in Milton Keynes, over the years it has also become a good place to dine, perhaps during the day while visiting its vast collection of retail outlets, with the family as a special treat or evening entertaining for that special loved one on a memorable occasion.

During the day take a break from the stresses of shopping and meet friends in the numerous cafés and bars including several Costa Coffees, Starbucks and don't forget Pub chains like Lloyds No 1 Bar and the Slugg and Lettuce for some good honest food.

Have you considered impressing that difficult client by giving yourself the edge over competitors by visiting impressive places to eat like Red Hot Buffett and numerous other world food offerings. Consider Milton Keynes location just north of London and meet halfway where you will undoubtedly find something different to both parties tastes.

On the run with no time to stop the city continues to offer a plethora of outlets to help keep you going, grab a sandwich from famous places such as Prêt a Manger and get through the day while visiting the shops in Milton Keynes. Just thirsty? Then why not pick up an invigorating drink from the Juice Bar and lets of course not forget Mr.Pretzel and one of my personal favorites Morris Pasties.

This of course brings me on to the family. As well as the usual you can find lots of famous restaurants that will have a children's menu available and with everyone's favorites like Pizza Hut how could you possibly go wrong?

Still not convenient enough and need the shopping and eating experience all under the same roof then Milton Keynes branches of House of Fraser, Marks and Spencer, Debenhams, and John Lewis all contain their own Restaurants so you can take a break halfway round and they all have a children's menu to boot.

Finally, let's not forget the evening entertainment and dining, be it for a romantic night out, work party or a celebration, anniversary or a birthday you will certainly be spoilt for choice within the city including many of the UK's top chains like TGI Fridays and Wagamama. However if Italian is your preference then don't forget places like Pizza Express and the famous Bella Italia. From French restaurants to Traditional Curry Houses you will undoubtedly be spoilt for choice.

The food area in the center of the city includes many of the restaurants mentioned previously which includes five hundred and fifty free spaces in the car park so you don't have to walk too far after your meal! You will also notice facilities for those who prefer to cook and eat at home including two large supermarkets Sainsbury's and Waitrose.

So remember next time you are visiting the shops in Milton Keynes consider making a day of it by treating yourself to the Cities varied choice of Cafés, Bars and Restaurants.
