Have your Workouts gone Flat? 3 Tips to Lose the Baby Fat

Kids love magic but sometimes their Moms need a little magic to when trying to lose the baby fat. Here are three tricks to getting that pregnancy weight off for good. You don't have to pull a rabbit out of a hat to trim your tummy.

1. Quick Cardio to Boost your Metabolism

You don't have to spend hours at the gym to get back in shape. Short bursts of quick cardio that tell your muscles to burn up your calories all day long are better than sweating buckets on the treadmill.

Studies have shown that to boost your metabolism you simply need to pick up the pace in your cardio. Instead of 45 minutes jogging around the block, do a quick high intensity cardio in just 20 minutes a couple times a day. This will be a sure thing to give a wake up call to your metabolism and to get your body working to lose the pregnancy weight.

2. From Flab to Fab!

Losing the pregnancy weight can be hard especially around those soft areas. Mommies need to focus on those tummy areas that are so troublesome.

By using your own body weight in resistance training you will lose that baby fat faster than with any machine at the gym. Simple and fun ways to do this at home would be with free weights or better yet an exercise ball; which allows you to use more muscles at a time thus burning more calories all day.

3. Don't forget feeding time

When you're not exercising you don't have to eat mashed bananas with your baby in order to lose the baby fat. Fad diets as we all know are not the key to success!

Instead feed yourself healthy snacks through out the day in order to keep your system moving. Also, don't believe any of those fad diets. Forgetting your carbs means preventing your body from what it needs. And that is energy from eating the good protein, carbohydrates and fats.

So if you're in a rut and you want to lose the baby fat remember to step it up a notch. Eat more with little snacks, exercise less with shorter high intensity cardio and lose the flab by focusing on the tough areas while toning. Most importantly make everything fun because staying healthy is for life!
